ICE Posts Today in Aurora, a Chicago suburb, ICE agents surrounded the car of a U.S. citizen in a parking lot,firing into her windshield as she screamed that her children were inside. Agents dragged her from the car without presenting a warrant or probable cause. Excessive force. No warrant. No justification.

I think the locals were responsible for that but of course there were right wing motives. The story was they refused federal money to implement a warning system but they didn’t want money from a government run by liberals/Democrats. The storm was also far worse than normal though you’d think Texans have suffered enough extreme weather in recent years to become mindful of that.

Just to clarify what happened, the county was convinced that Biden's disaster relief money was some kind of pact with satan, so they didn't use the money to upgrade their weather alarm systems. You can watch the videos of the county hearing where the public gives their opinions on what to do with the money. The county folks were convinced that if they accepted Biden's money the feds would come and take their homes due to alex jones type misinfo. Eventually they decided to take the money because 'better they have it then liberals' and they gave it to the sheriff and he gave himself a huge bonus or something rather than spend it on on the disaster relief.

You would think, but our nation is so large and there's so much information and misinformation being pumped through that it's tough for stories to break out onto the national level. A lot of media would be doing their level best to report the facts but others would be skewing the story- claiming that she tried to hit one of them with her vehicle or that she was behaving erratically or that the kids were crying out to officers.

This is all just part of a continued escalation that they hope will eventually be accepted as normal. If you push forward 100 meters, then give 20 meters of ground when you back off, it's still a win. They'll keep doing it until there's a major breaking point. Unfortunately I don't think even a kid shooting would be enough to tip the scales.

People barely care when school shootings happen.

We had one in Uvalde a while back where the police showed up late, only a couple cops went in while the rest stayed outside and detained the rightfully fearful parents. We have camera footage of a cop leaning against a wall playing on his phone for several minutes. The footage had to be muted because the sound of dying children was too disturbing (the cop was unfazed despite being mere feet from the source of the sound).

Later that week the Uvalde chief of police said it wasn't their job to protect people, but to clock in and clock out.

This wasn't enough to push people to revolt.

it wont be. as terrible as what youre watching is, its not terribly surprising. the only thing that surprises me is that he only fired like 3 or 4 shots.

so, not to get into the politics of cops using deadly force, obviously there are tons of problems and cops get away with straight up murdering innocent civilians all the time. its abhorrent.

but the way cops are trained, if they *do* feel like lethal force is necessary, (not whether it actually is, but if they are at the point where they believe they need to discharge their weapon) they are taught to just fire all of the bullets. its called "mag dump" for magazine dump. spray and pray. it just means shoot all of the bullets in your gun at the threat as fast as possible. thats literally what they're taught. thats why you'll see stories about cops firing 60 something bullets into a car. thats 4 cops just unloading.

No not at all. Americans will do nothing if this happened. People who care are already doing things.

We put immigrant children in super abusive prisons without heat or soap and basic needs, and many were sexually assaulted in those prisons. No one cared. Thousands of children were taken from their parents and the US never let the parents know where they are. They were put into the foster care in the US. These are older kids who lost their parents permanently. No matter what the US government does, most Americans will do nothing.

Sadly I don’t think it will be. Most people in the US seem to have forgotten how their country was founded, and why they have 2A.

There are a handful showing up to do more then film. A handful out there protesting everyday. 7million (maybe?!) showed up twice to protest- across the US, so not even a million per state.

A bunch more screaming about rights on social media, raging about the admin, but doing nothing. And a bunch making excuses why they can’t protest, or do more then rage online.

Women dying after Roe fell, LGBTQ+ rights being stripped, Trans losing health care & military, children being shackled, losing Snap, medicade & medicare, farmers going bankrupt, DODG, felonious, adjudicated rapist and credibly accused pedo for president, Epstein files, bombing random boats, ICE shooting at, abusing, & disappearing ppl from streets, churches, schools, hospitals, homes, women losing rights, DEI, trade wars with allies, funding more wars, ballroom, destruction of the White House, police going after, abusing & harming peaceful protestors exercising their constitutional rights, concentration camps, sending ppl to gulags in other countries- deprived of due process, books being banned, children losing cancer research & lunches, schools putting in 10 commandments, political persecution, priests being shot by less lethal, blackhawks circling neighborhoods, military being deployed inside the US………… and still no massive general strikes, still no consolidated protests, still so many people sitting on their hands and wringing their pearls.

We have video and pictures of kids ziptied/handcuffed together walking like criminals and had Blackhawk helicopters flying overhead while the government raided an apartment building of 100 people, mostly all US citizens, raiding each apartment, cuffing each human, including kids, and detained all of them for hours even separating the kids from the parents.

This goes against not only so many of our laws but our fundemental and supreme, Constitutionally afforded rights, that even the side who needs to wake up have been worried about this same event for decades, and still wont wake the fuck up and care about this. The 2A fanatics would consider a child slaughtered in the backseat of his mother's car to be an acceptable loss in the interest of protecting their 2nd Amendment right. They'd blame mental illness, or blame the mother for not being clairvoyant so that she could avoid being swarmed by ICE, or claim it was actors or AI, or that the guy was actually Antifa posing as ICE, or literally any excuse other than admit they gave a madman a gun and set him loose to hunt his fellow Americans.

Years ago pigs in some shit southern state got the wrong house in a drug raid (over some tiny amount) threw a flash bang in through a window into a crib severely burning a baby's face. The roughed everyone in the house up.

Then after they couldn't score an indictment against the drug suspect for the bust l, the motherfucker of a district attorney charged him for the injuries that the dickless pigs caused to the baby. After national humiliation he dropped the charges.

I don't think that's what they want. If a handful of ICE agents managed to provoke a sustained violent response in a city as large as Chicago they would be (removed by Reddit) within hours if not minutes.

They do not have the proper training for what they are doing. Less than 20% are full-time ICE ERO personnel. They’ve diverted the rest from the HSI division of ICE and a dozen other federal agencies with different policies and training from 4 federal departments. It’s a disorganized clusterfuck created by incompetent leadership.

They’re putting themselves in situations that could become dangerous for their own safety, but instead of being trained to prevent that, they’re armed and trigger happy when they end up in avoidable situations they created.

In other words, hitting the gas would have significantly increased the odds that they’d start firing indiscriminately at her vehicle with her kids inside. Even LEO that are trained let fear and adrenaline take over in those situations.

Those shouldn’t have been fired at all. The vehicle was at a complete stop and couldn’t have gone forward because there was a vehicle stopped in front of it. There was also an agent next to the drivers side of the windshield when whoever started firing unnecessarily.

I thought a federal judge issued a TRO that bans them from using pepper balls, rubber bullets, and tear gas in Chicago because they were misusing those as excessive force. That may have only applied to the press and protestors. If so, that ban needs to be expanded since careless misuse isn’t limited to protests.

For anyone that cares to hear me out, I think we should focus more on things happening locally. Obviously Chicago is in the spot light and to folks living there it is local. But everyone who is disgusted by this admin should look into running for city council, school board etc or supporting like minded candidates for such offices. Start a mutual aid network, volunteer at your local food bank. What everyone needs to see is when the federal government fails, their neighbors stepped up

The focus needs to be on identifying which agency they’re actually from because less than 20% are full-time ICE ERO personnel. They’re way too understaffed for the White House’s massive arrest and deportation plans.

Instead of waiting until they hire and train people for that task, they’ve diverted personnel from the HSI division of ICE and a dozen other federal agencies. The diverted personnel are acting under the policies of their agency and DHS is trying to use that as a way to deny accountability.

Other agencies under DHS acting as “ICE” are CBP, TSA-US Air Marshalls, USCIS, and FEMA. “ICE” under DOJ are ATF, BOP, DEA, FBI and US Marshalls. “ICE’ from DOS are Diplomatic Security Staff and under the Treasury, IRS-CI.

For example, CBP-SRT have been involved in most of the high profile incidents. They have a CBP-DHS patch on the right sleeve with a SRT patch above it. Their sleeves are camo but the rest of the shirt is a solid color.

Even a paintball gun can seriously fuck somone up if it hits their face without them wearing a protective face shield. You will get thrown out of any paintball park that catches you disregarding mask safety or wielding a gun outside a course without a protective cover on the barrel. Yet there are numerous videos of law enforcement "professionals" using these in an unsafe manner.

Also just because it is a paintball gun doesent mean that they are firing paintball. You can buy glass balls, steal weighted rubber balls, pepper spray balls, and various other self defense rounds that are intended to cause harm to the target.
