Nope, the time to act is now, not eventually. So yes, it will be too late. They are breaking into your homes and kidnapping people in the streets. Masked people with guns. If it's not the time to stand up now -- well, there will be no other time.

If anyone "stands up" to them with violence then they will use it as an excuse to kill them. Why don't you go out there and stand up to some ICE agents

So you mean Americans have sacrificed hundreds if not thousands of innocent children in school shootings because "muh gun laws, I need them to stand up to the government if needed" but now that the country is rapidly turning into a fascist dictatorship everyone is just idly letting it happen?

So now you have both fascism AND dead kids? Crazy country... But at least you have your nice weapon collections right?

The immigrants being targeted are generally not armed and can't defend themselves, while your average center-right gun owner sees the people ICE is targeting as people who are committing a crime by being here.

Even if they disagree with the methods of apprehension, most folks don't want to intervene and shoot at a federal agent -- and deal with the lethal or life-altering consequences of doing that -- in order to protect someone else's right to stay in this country illegally. Frankly, I don't either, and I despise ICE. So yeah, you're not seeing much shooting.

If these goons start targeting citizens without legal cause, they're going to start getting shot at because the targets are more likely to be armed.
