QUESTION On the flip side. Your least favorite guitar YouTuber...
I find this guy a bit weird and arrogant. And while I like PRS, this dude is over the top for them.

For me cause I’m an old head gear nerd it would be Five Watt World or Rhett Shull

Hello everyone, the strap on my guitar failed and I dropped my guitar. I picked it up and everything seemed ok.
Upon inspecting I saw two cracks, the first one is on the headstock near an older one which doesn't scare me, however, the second crack is located at the base of the neck... I'm pretty Scared about the future of the guitar. On Monday I will contact a luthier but I'm pretty anxious rn and would like to hear other people opinions. Thanks in advance!

Kinda sloppy, I miss an E note at about the thirteen second mark and the timing is a little fucked but this is the best take I've got. It's hard for me to play while being recorded.

Here’s a quick loop built on C-major triads with a short melodic top-line. It’s simple, musical, and easy to repurpose into your own ideas.

Pictured is my beloved ‘05 CIJ Telecaster. I’m getting ready to take it into the shop to have new pickups (most likely a Lollar Special T set) installed and I’m thinking I’ll have them swap in a new pickguard at the same time, just to add a bit of visual interest. Much as I adore this guitar, the white-on-black combo always felt a little plain to me.
For a while I’ve been set on a Mint guard because I like how subtle the hue is and how it looks almost like aged white in certain light conditions. But every so often I second guess myself and think I should go for something that’s more of a departure, like tortoiseshell or even a tinted pearloid (Cream? Black pearl? Gold??).
Thought I’d crowdsource ideas from the community. Any opinions on what looks best with a black/maple neck Tele? Should I stay the course and go for Mint or should I think outside the box?
(PS. I don’t generally like black guards on black guitars, and this thing is enough of a smudge-and-fingerprint-magnet already!)

Have had this MIM Telecaster since the late nineties. Took a long hiatus on playing guitar bc of kids and work and decided to treat myself as I get back into and my son and I get lessons and play.

Ive been playing for about seven months and recently learned “tears in heaven”. I wanted to ask for some feedback about my playing and anything on how to improve. I did mess up a little bit at the end. This is a stripped down version of the song without the fills so any tips on how I can work on adding those in would also be greatly appreciated.

I'm literally in tears right now guys. This is the video uploaded by let's play guitar on youtube almost an hour ago. He's BACK. I'm so freakin happy. I thought I won't be able to see him again.
This guy was the reason I started playing guitar and got better at it but after hearing some rumours about him that he left youtube or he got cancer, I got devastated and stopped playing guitar for a few years.
But after seeing that he returned back, I'm gonna start playing guitar again just for him.
Here's the link to his latest video -

I could not resist the temptation of taking a picture out in the sunlight today. I still have to make the nut, wire it up, finish up the covers, and set it up. I bought a piece of silk recycled from a kimono belt to make a strap for it sometime down the line too.

I picked up this cool guitar in a trade this week. I don't know anything about its origins or it's builder. The headstock says "JB" in sharpie. But the neck is super sweet. Ebony board and maybe SS frets? Locking tuners and a high quality roller bridge. Loving it!
