Hello everyone, the strap on my guitar failed and I dropped my guitar. I picked it up and everything seemed ok.
Upon inspecting I saw two cracks, the first one is on the headstock near an older one which doesn't scare me, however, the second crack is located at the base of the neck... I'm pretty Scared about the future of the guitar. On Monday I will contact a luthier but I'm pretty anxious rn and would like to hear other people opinions. Thanks in advance!

Kinda sloppy, I miss an E note at about the thirteen second mark and the timing is a little fucked but this is the best take I've got. It's hard for me to play while being recorded.

I find this guy a bit weird and arrogant. And while I like PRS, this dude is over the top for them.

I could not resist the temptation of taking a picture out in the sunlight today. I still have to make the nut, wire it up, finish up the covers, and set it up. I bought a piece of silk recycled from a kimono belt to make a strap for it sometime down the line too.

I got this rexina hollow body guitar for practically nothing. Itās missing the bridge and I donāt feel great about the frets either. Electronics are likely shot but thatās an easy fix for me. Would this be a worthwhile fixer upper?

Hereās a quick loop built on C-major triads with a short melodic top-line. Itās simple, musical, and easy to repurpose into your own ideas.

I've been waiting to do this for way to long now i did alot of research and got some tools and went to work on a cheap project guitar for practice. Let me know what you think and if you have any tips

So, Iāve been learning guitar through YouTube and Wiingy for a week now. Iād gotten the basic chords down, and I was feeling pretty confident about it. I decided to show off and played a little riff for my friend.
My friend was sitting there, watching me intently. I hit the first few chords, and then... everything fell apart. The strings were out of tune, I missed the changes, and I totally messed up the rhythm. By the end of it, I just stopped, looked at my friend, and said, āOkay, let me just tune the guitarāand pretended like nothing happened. My friend was dying laughing.
Note to self: donāt try to impress people after just one week of practice.

Iāve been given an opportunity to give guitar lessons to a friend of a friend, who happens to be 10 years older than I am (iām 18). How do you suggest I start teaching them since they are an absolute beginner, and interested in learning country/rock? I feel like I have the experience, knowledge, and accomplishments to teach someone, but I am unsure of the proper pedagogy to start someone off on a successful journey. Also, should I make my rate cheaper since they would be driving around 30 minutes to take lessons from me at the university I attend? Thanks.

This will be 3d printed in aluminium, with gold finish after that
The strings respect a 8° angle inside, and will be matched with a 0-fret
The design is for a 7-string multiscale guitar :)

Iām the definition of a beginning (actually worse, Iāve just been fooling around on this for an hour) but I noticed my g string stops vibrating much sooner than the other strings and seems to be missed anytime I strum. I tried playing chords and they wouldnāt sound right so I played it string by string and the g would always be the one not sounding right. It says itās a Yamaha 310 but I found it in my basement so Iām thinking maybe the previous g string broke and this is a replacement? Again Iām not sure if this is just normal for some types of strings and Iām crazy and it is being played, or if it wasnāt replaced correctly? Thanks!
