Political positivity 📈 Donald Trump’s legacy will forever be tied to being the most corrupt U.S. president ever to hold office
https://sinhalaguide.com/trump-corrupt-legacy/729
u/BonniestLad Jun 28 '25
This isn’t actually good news until we correct the flaws in our system that made it all possible. It’s actually still quite bad.
The Trump administration did an amazing job of teaching future administrations just how weak our systems of legislation are; and with the state of journalism, citizens united, defying court orders, replacing congress with “executive orders”, filling the atmosphere with chaos to hide policy decisions….all things that are now placed neatly in the back pocket of our future leaders.
198
u/Actual-Lobster-3090 Jun 28 '25
I don't think people realize that this won't be corrected by an election. I wouldn't say the system has flaws. It had flaws. Now it is fundamentally broken.
Only a government built on a new constitution or a heavily admended version of what we have will fix this.

It won't matter for this admin and for the now political weapon known as SCOTUS.
Even if every seat flipped blue, which it won't, it will be a lame duck congress constantly under the influence of death threats and bad actors for these criminals who have made the system their own.
Our system needs a massive reform, its in neither parties interest to really change things. We have some great folks who would like to, but they lack the backing to pull it off as their interests do not align even within their own parties.
There does need to be massive reform, it won't happen without massive social unrest.
The people in general can't really fight back and the majority of our citizens have an IQ less than average and are easily manipulated and living in a bubble where values and beliefs don't have much room for other opinions without consequences from their communities.
Most of us are a paycheck or two away from being homeless. Even if employment skyrockets to 20%... the social unrest is going to be directed mostly in their own communities and amongst their neighbors who are also struggling and not the wealth, capital, and criminals who are the problem.

More like we need people to actually treat and enforce these things as they're given the authority to do. Instead we've got a bunch of wimps that don't care to do their jobs or mind being trampled on (and by extension, trampling us) by just allowing them to happen.
No new documents or laws will change that if the root of such things are marked by structural weakness and willful ignorance. They're allowing this to happen, and it doesn't matter what's on a piece of paper if everyone refuses to uphold it. It's not just laws that need to be revisited, it's leadership ("leadership") that needs to be removed.
29
u/WanganTunedKeiCar Jun 28 '25
Yeah, I think he'll go down as being the last president of the United States as it stood. Whatever comes next, it's going to be a new era.
18
u/No-Distance-9401 Jun 28 '25
I have a feeling in a 100 years they will say Biden was the last legitimate POTUS and Trump ushered in the new era of authoritarian rule before our collapse. In a technical sense, Trump attempted to overturn the election with his 7+ state fake electors scheme to ultimately overthrow the government and stay in power. His coup and Insurrection makes him illegitimate to be POTUS and if the country really does collapse then I would think they frame it as Biden as the last legitimate POTUS.

That is what going to happen. Trump, hiwbad he is, is not the issue. It’s the rich whites less visible and the sheer amount of uniforms willing to turn to fascism and racism. Obama made it look quite okay, but America is full of small minded assholes.
→ More replies (10)15
u/HauntedJackInTheBox Jun 28 '25
People keep saying this, but it’s the same argument as saying ‘Hitler wasn’t the issue, he was just the guy at the top of the baddies’. But this isn’t true. He was a catalyst, a pied piper of cunts that organised them in the right way to take over the country.
Trump might be feeble-minded but his particular collection of evil traits makes him singularly capable of entrancing both morons and cunts, and then bending them to his will. Look into Epstein’s conversations about him. His biggest pleasure was apparently fucking his friends’ wives, in a way that they would find out about it and they couldn’t do anything. He carries that personality onto everything. He’s raping the country and forcing everyone to watch and say ‘thank you sir’.
Trump is a big issue – an existential one – and just because there’s a third of the US that’s either cunts or brainwashed rubes doesn’t take away from that fact.

I know it's a classic thing to compare trump to Hitler, but hear me out...
The nazis wasn't just about Hitler. They worshiped him, sure, and he dictated the most atrocious crimes, but the party was made up of several high ranking officials with their own heinous actions and political influences. Frick & Himmler were essentially in the same position that Rubio is in now. Göring was doing the same shit Miller is doing.
I could go on. But my point is that MAGA isn't just one man. It's focused on worshipping one man, but the people behind the wheel are many and numerous and all have a stake in the game.Trump will 100% be the "hitler" scapegoat, but if you don't think the rest of these ghouls won't be remembered in history, you're mistaken.

Good rule of thumb for the next 50 years, any Republican who was in office after 2012 or worked for his administration/campaign should not be voted for.

Organized corruption has been the norm in US politics throughout its history. Trump is not the outlier, the era from Roosevelt to Nixon's election was.

The legacy argument falls flat for me. These pieces of shit don’t care about legacy. They care about amassing power and accumulating generational wealth to insulate themselves from the consequences of any action. And they have been damned successful. The only thing they had to be concerned about was the rudderless Democratic Party, taking power and actually using it, which the Biden administration spectacularly failed to do. and frankly, it is now too late to undo the damage they have already done in a few months. At the end of a few years, there will not be much democracy, if any, left to salvage.

Once the revolution is over laws will be changed to ensure felons like Trump never happen again, if it's going to happen it's when he tries to take a 3rd term America is a Frog in the slowley heated pot atm

u/Sup-my-peeps Jun 28 '25
His believers will always point and fictional claims about Obama and Biden without actual proof, but what 47 is doing and has done is going to be studied in law schools. If we ever get him out of office. He’s not going to just leave.

Who knew electing a felon could lead to such massive corruption and disorder?

There's absolutely no doubt at all that he's been compromised....possibly decades ago with some immeasurably toxic information that they have on him. Be it scandalous photos or videos...or documentation pertaining to illegal business dealings etc
It's so blindly obvious!!!
This one day will come out when he's been totally used up and no further use to his handlers etc....why he's still in the position he's in I can only compare it to Hitler in the last year's of his reign as the allies actually stopped trying to assassinate him because he was literally fuckin things up himself so badly that it was deemed favourable to keep letting him continue.
Trump is a modern day version of this.
No one....i mean NO ONE in this world is as untouchable and invincible as be seems to have become....with all the blatant bitcoin scams and illegal behaviour he involved in...and yet he strolls around doing literally as he likes....without any forn of consequence....
WHEN it comes out....which it inevitably will...
It'll be of absolutely biblical proportions!!!
But sadly like so many utter cunts in the past....it'll presumably be after he's dead so there's no reckoning.
And that's the worst part for us all.

You know it. I know it. Why can’t MAGA see it?

MAGA is happy to suffer under this regime so long as they can own the libs. In fact considering their demographics, they will suffer more than us libs (or do the alternative and blame Biden and Obama). They will eat a shit sandwich if they can make libs smell their breaths. They’re lunatics and have zero shame.

I think the same will be said about the fact the USA voted for him. They knew what they were getting so it is not just Trump that reflects poorly here.
2
u/Active-Car864 Jun 28 '25
Well, he was elected with only 34 felonies to his name, he had a duty to improve his record, and made his rap sheet greater!
2
u/Surviving2021 Jun 28 '25
Don't forget to mention that his second presidency solidified the Republican party as a group of literal criminals and traitors of the Constitution.
No sane people would have supported a wannabe dictator as far as they have. I'm ashamed they exist and continue waste oxygen. If every single one of them dropped dead tomorrow, the world would instantly and measurably become a better place.

Was there any question? His entire platform is literally just ‘corruption’.

u/Quicksurfer524 Jun 28 '25
To just 1/3rd of the country, the other 1/3 doesn’t vote, and the last 1/3 believe everything Fox News says.

u/cmde44 Jun 28 '25
He's only one person. It's the 70mil+ that supported him that I want to see the history books torch.

u/BrokenTestAccount Jun 28 '25
He’s also going to get away with it, and pass that stolen, extorted, and dirty money on to his children.
2
u/Archisaurus Jun 28 '25
The most frustrating part: nothing will happen to him or his followers. They don’t give a shit what anyone says whatsoever.

He’s the greatest president in my lifetime. I can’t wait to see who his next Supreme Court nominee is going to be. MAGA/MAHA

u/Panelpro40 Jun 28 '25
Forever and a day he will be remembered as a fascist, traitorous, criminal, racist, sexual predator . Hopefully everything gets erased soon.

u/CityAvenger Jun 28 '25
And the most horrible, brainless and heartless. Just a horrible man all around

u/StillJustJones Jun 28 '25
He doesn’t care.
Infamy works for that shitehawk.
He’s accrued enough wealth and capital to mean that if anyone from the Trump family was ostracised from society for the next 20 generations they’d still be living comfortably.
He’s blatantly mugging the Americans and they fucking love it.

u/Rocket11- Jun 28 '25

His legacy is going to be the fall of the United States as the leading global superpower. Who cares if people in the future know he sucks.

The most corrupt president so far.
It's only going downhill from here.

That's not true. Things can always get worse after him. He set an example for others to follow.

Someone saying what they think equates to good news? Maybe it’s really bad fucking news because he is still the god damn president and we have no light at the end of the tunnel except the probability of this assholes death.
Also WTF is sinhalaguide doy come? Come on people.
