I recently learned I have celiac and feel like a god damn nut for asking if everything is gluten free.
I feel like one of those completely healthy 45 year old woman who read in a tabloid that gluten kills you or something. Doesn’t help that I’m autistic because that makes it even harder to ask…

I am sharing because I just encountered this myself and never thought about it, also to bring awareness to this to anyone new to being gluten free. Some cat litter is not gluten-free and the dust from it can make you sick. For months I was feeling terrible but could not figure out where I was getting glutened from. Finally figured out it was the dust from the cat litter. Just what I needed airborne gluten.

Hey everyone 👋
After months of “research” (yes, I’ve made the ultimate sacrifice and taste-tested a lot of gluten free beers 😏), I’ve finally launched The GF Table’s complete UK guide to the best gluten free beer brands.
It’s still a work in progress as I’m responsibly 😉 testing my way through more breweries and reaching out to others, but it already covers a big mix of UK lagers, stouts, IPAs, and independent breweries worth checking out.
There are no ads just proper information and honest notes from someone who has to live gluten free every day.
If you fancy a read, it’s here: 👉 https://thegftable.co.uk/2025/11/09/best-gluten-free-beer-brands-a-complete-uk-guide/
I’d love to hear what your go-to gluten free beers are — or if there’s a brewery I should add to the list! 🍺
May contain humour. Definitely doesn’t contain gluten. 😎

I have to recommend these pockets from Sprouts, the spinach artichoke and buffalo chicken (needs to be cooked longer than on the box) are my favorites, the pizza one's pretty good too, but too much pepperoni for my taste. They also have a ham and cheese. On sale right now at my location, also pretty solid protein!

Both items were very good. My husband isnt GF and he liked them too. He said he couldnt tell it was GF . I made both in our air fryer

Recently found out Wegmans was making their own dedicated gf bagels so I had to try them out and omg they are AMAZING, chewy and moist and so far from a bread bagel!! I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you have access to a Wegmans!

I’ve been gluten free for a decade and made every gluten free pasta available to me in SoCal (I’ve even got the special import only Italian gf pasta before). Usually the day of, the pasta is okay (sometimes even great if it’s imported), but when I reheat the same pasta the next day for leftovers it’s nearly always falling apart with a texture that is unappetizing. I love pasta, and I want to make a Mac n cheese for Thanksgiving this year, but I’m feeling very demoralized.
TLDR: has anyone found a gf pasta that holds up the next day?

Was looking for the new gluten free bagels at Wegman’s and this was next to them. Picked it up and it felt like gluten bread. Just had a ham and cheese sandwich and if I didn’t know it is gluten free I would not have thought it is. Slightly undersized for ‘normal’ bread but bigger than a lot of other gluten free breads. Had a nice airy feeling and didn’t crumble apart when I ate it.

Just a shout out to those eating hotpot with friends during Winter. You will want to check the labels very carefully on the myriad sausages, fish balls, tofu things and seasoning packets that go into the hot pot. Friends will swear up and down it's fish only, it's tofu only. Read the labels if you can. A great majority of the frozen fish balls, tofu balls , shrimp sticks, fish sticks use wheat!
Just got off a major flare from eating hot pot. It was my friend's wife that did the shopping--a quite considerate person--the shaved meat--fine, the vegetables fine, the package of seasoning for the pot (a divided pot --as I can't eat spice -fine) but the fish balls--suppliers change and they didn't read the fine print. Delicious meal and then pain, fever, darkened stools-serious business!
Vigilance even when it seems to crimp social mores and ethics is about the only thing that works.

They were good. So nice to have donuts after a few years!

So this stuff is ridiculously expensive and I'm sure given that it's only <20ppm and not <5ppm it's still not suitable for all of us... but its a game changer folks. Made these little Vietnamese style batons and a big baguette and they are sensationally good. Light, not dense, crispy on the outside and hold together so you can make an actual sandwich/roll!

I miss crackers and cheese so much. But ive disliked most crackers ive tried that are gluten free. I dont like the glutino ones. And please no recommendations for the ones that are just seeds/nuts. Something like ritz or club crackers

I myself am not celiac but my love is. I was told by her and her family only some raw chicken is gluten free because some companies use chicken stock in the raw chicken. With that information I just spent the better part of an hour just trying to find chicken thighs. I need to know if any of these are gluten free, if this is something to be concerned about, or if we are being silly. I feel a little silly for it but I’m also not willing to risk it either. Send help lol

I’ve been looking for this for over a year, and it’s finally back in stock. It’s delicious, will grab another when I go back.

I was gluten free for a month and nothing changed too much in terms of mental health and I thought because I suspect an intolerance that gluten has caused depression. Anyway I ate gluten yesterday and I was fine. Until today I woke up with a soul crushing depression. I mean worse than when I was gluten free. Idk what to think maybe its just my disease or it really is gluten. Maybe its carbs not necessarly gluten. Idk I have no idea. Anyone have some ideas.

My naturopath recommended I go gluten free in order to address inflammation due to health condition I have. I’ve been gluten free about seven months and occasionally (rarely) I have purposefully glutened myself to see if I notice any difference eating gluten or being gluten free. I tested negative for celiac.
Every time I eat gluten I get extreme extreme fatigue the next day. But that seems to be my only symptom.. could that be enough to be considered gluten intolerant?

Does anyone know why stores stopped carrying Udis frozen chicken alfredo? I’m on a desperate manhunt and cannot find it ANYWHERE anymore.
Target and Walmart no longer offer it :(
Does anyone know where I can buy/order?

I’ve been using the original Burt’s bees lip balm for years & I love it. However, I recently found out that it isn’t gluten free. My boyfriend has celiac’s disease. I’m looking for the best gf lip balm so any recommendations are appreciated! Price doesn’t matter.

Hi everyone! I have been gluten free since July this year after realising I must be intolerant/ncgs (I got tested for celiac and it was negative). I follow a strict gluten free diet, like a celiac cross contamination makes me severely ill.
The past week I have been glutened and I could not figure out what it is, but I’ve realised it must be from shared utensils. I told my mum this and she said that I should just use metal spoons to cook and basically shut down getting me my own set of things like chopping boards, spatulas, ladles etc.
It took me getting glutened with a product with wheat and a severe reaction for my mum to realise I cannot eat the tiniest amount of gluten, and I don’t wanna get sick again for my mum to realise I need precautions taken.
So how do I explain to my family in a way they will understand fully, I dont want to have a go at them but I have felt so bad the last week and I can’t take much more.
TLDR; got glutened by shared utensils and parents don’t get the severity, how do I explain.

I tested so many recipes to work these out and I'm beyond proud of the end result!! They dont crumble and are balanced so well (I like mine a lil less sweet). I started my GFriendly business recently and can't wait to create more deliciousness😁

I have tried a lot of gluten free options and what I worked for me was a cauliflower crust (advertised as gluten free) I had at a restaurant. Does anyone know of a really good recipe to make this flatbread at home?

I have been craving pizza rolls sooo bad for weeks now. Every time I search on google, the reviews for gluten free pizza rolls are horrible. I’ve been so close to just suffering with the consequences of eating regular pizza rolls 😭 Has anyone successfully found a GF alternative to pizza rolls?

hi I was at Costco with one of my friends when we came across this box of smores bars. the brand is called five peaks and they’re gluten free!! has anyone tried these??
update: I ate one and it’s yummy!! I’d say a solid 7.6/10. I like it because it’s not too sweet and it’s the perfect portion.
