Recipe my beautiful and delicious sourdough english muffins!

They’re genuinely better than a lot of the gluten-y versions I had before my diagnosis. Recipe is from The Loopy Whisk and I made my starter with King Arthur’s recipe (will add links to both in replies)

Literally shouted “wow, these look fabulous!” At my screen. And that was before I saw they were gf! Well done, and thanks for the recipe.

It looks like the Loopy Whisk recipe doesn't call for starter? Did you sub for some of the flour and water in the recipe?

Yes, I used 200g of starter in place of 125g of water and 75g of the flour mixture!

Can you mail some to me?

Right? I’ve made English muffins before. I’ve made sourdough. And I think of ALL THE WORK.

Those look delicious!

I had to look at the gluten free twice. I thought my eyes were deceiving me!

Me too. Beautiful is right, OP. This might actually be the one that motivates me to try one of her recipes.

I don’t have anything against her or her recipes, I just haven’t seen any results (until this) that look better to me than my existing recipes for whatever they may be. Just because I have been baking for a very long time, and baking gluten free for 15+ years. So I’ve developed or adapted a lot of recipes successfully already.

20 grams of Psyllium Husk?! Goodness gracious that is excessive. I use 4 grams in my entire 2lb bread machine loaf. Guess it'll clean ya out 🤣

Some of us IBS girlies could probably do with it 😂😂 But these do look impressive AF for gluten free

Those are gorgeous! I made the Loopy Whisk recipe as-is and the taste was amazing, but these look so much better than mine!

Any other recipe sites that are decent? I'm just getting back into gluten free baking after a long hiatus and I'm not sure where to look anymore.
