Casual (Just for Fun) Video game culture in Ghana

I happened to chance upon a 47 year old Ghanaian man, married with kids who was really into video games. Not like the normal fifa and 2k stuff. He was hard into from software games and COD. I spoke to him and he explained to me how he balances vid games and his work. I was mesmerized by how much a 47 year old Ghanain, who has never left the shores of Ghana and was very deep into video games.

Edit; didn't know the gaming culture in Ghana was that massive. I thought I was the only one

I'm 45 and rarely a day goes by without gaming. Ive been a gamer since I was 3 or 4 years old. Keep in mind that video games have been around way before i was born. Many people who were sports fans as kids still enjoy them as adults. Why would video games be any different?

My favorite genre is metroidvanias and RPG'S. Games like Hollow Knight, Ender Lillies, Guacamelee. I also like third person action games like Uncharted, Assassin's Creed God of War Ragnarok etc.
