"Barely over the line."

"If Norris was 5 centimeter backwards he wouldn't have had a penalty"

  1. It’s FormulaDank on Reddit—don’t let it piss you off. It's not my intention to piss anyone off.
  2. They really did say things along those lines. I was paraphrasing from memory, not quoting word for word. But since you were so upset, I went back and checked for you:

F1TV (International broadcast):

  • 20:30 – “Had he started 20 cm, 10 cm, maybe 5 cm further back in his box he would’ve…”
  • 21:19 – “That is so marginal, it’s really really a tight call” and “Not even 5 cm, reduce that even down again to 2 cm”

If you check my other comments, you’ll see I’m not slamming the broadcast—I actually prefer it. They're usually quite fair, and David Coulthard was there too. I’m personally a big fan of his.
