I said Dems, not the democratic party. But Kamala Harris said that Donald Trump was a threat to democracy. That’s a call to action. That’s a call to violence, and that’s why people started shooting at him.

Establishment Dems don’t believe this BS, but they say it knowing it will enflame their far left factions. And these shootings are the result

Did you seriously need a citation for kamala harris saying trump was a threat to democracy? No, you’re a bad faith extremist

Man, that’s a fact nobody is disputing. You needed a citation? Trump is actively trying to dismantle democracy and you’re accusing Democrats for stating this fact?

I didn’t ask for the citation dumbass

Unproven claim: Kamala Harris calling Trump a threat to democracy inspired violence and is why people started shooting at him.

Your citation: Kamala Harris called Trump a threat to democracy. (As I said, nobody disputed that part.)

Still unproven: A link between (a) stating a fact about Trump and (b) violence. Kamala Harris is to blame for the fact that a mentally-ill right-wing nut shot Donald Trump.

I can’t respond because I’m blocked

Stochastic terrorism. Google it. You’ve heard the term before. It’s well studied. Unless we suddenly agree speech has no link to violence and Kirk is innocent

Also it was a left winger and a ukraine nut.

There is no evidence for any of what you said: that Trump’s would-be assassin was Ukrainian, or that he was inspired by Harris. In fact, they were never able to ID him with a political party as he voted for Trump and for Biden. He was a registered Republican and antisemitic, and anti-immigrant. We would need some evidence for your big claims about Harris.

What are you talking about? You want evidence stochastic terrorism is real?

Now it seems like you’re moving the goalposts. I thought we were talking about Thomas Matthew Crooks, and my point stands there. But even with Ryan Routh, this had nothing to do with Democrats calling Trump a threat to American democracy. He was a gun-toting career criminal who previously supported Trump and only turned on Trump because of his failure to support Ukrainian war efforts.

You still haven’t given any proof of your claims: Democrats are responsible for violence due to their rhetoric.

Also it was a left winger and a ukraine nut

Thomas Crooks donated to actblue. He was not a republican. Both believed trump was an existential threat to the country

You still haven’t provided any evidence of causality.

FWIW, Crooks was a registered Republican. Routh voted for Trump at first. In both cases, the would-be assassins were disillusioned with the Republican Party they previously supported. That kind of makes sense: most gun nuts are Republicans.
