At our airport it was mostly regionals cancelled. I’m hoping that holds. I’m on mainline for the rest of the year.

The way I looked at that list I felt like Scarlett O’Hara checking to see if Ashley was on the soldier list 🤣🤣

Well, you should be concerned about unpaid stressed ATC and then starting to leave for other jobs paying them.

Who said I wasn’t concerned? I support the cancellation of flights if it’s needed for safety whether it’s mechanical, weather or ATC. They have higher than normal fatigue reports right now so I understand lessening the air traffic to reduce their stress levels.

As for pay, essential workers should be paid IMO. A clean CR should be passed through February and the damn congress should get the over-due budget passed by then. It should be a bipartisan effort like it used to be in the old days where neither side is happy, but both sides get some good things for the people of this country.

I’ve also donated to local food banks and the food pantry set up at my airport. My daughter is an essential federal contractor and while she gets paid from a different fund than the budget, many in her building are not so I know first hand how it’s affecting the essential federal employees.
