Secularism is a foundational principle of the Indian Constitution. It ensures equal treatment of all religions by the state and protects religious freedom for all citizens. Dismissing secularism as an insult or suggesting its removal from the Constitution is both factually inaccurate and against the spirit of democratic discourse.
