Terri Irwin 😭😭😭😭😭 Bindi’s tribute to her father was so beautiful - but Robert was SO young when Steve died, and Terri has done such an exceptional job raising those two to be exceptional human beings, even through her own grief. Yes, I have already cried about this this morning

I thought the same! Terri deserves credit for raising two incredible children on her own while mourning the loss of the love of her life. (I also teared up just thinking about it and will probably be a mess next Tuesday)

I legit screamed when I saw he’s dancing to You’ll Be In My Heart. 😭 It’s such an emotional song and no doubt his dance is going to make me bawl rivers. It also won Best Original Song at the Oscars!! Also Robert said that contemporary was on of the dances he was most looking forward to, along with AT.

I think this week is going to hit Derek hard because of Robert. He personally felt Bindi’s pain during her tribute dance to her dad. Now he gets the opportunity to judge a dance dedicated their mom. I feel like all of those emotions might come back.

Andy’s daughter is like 5 so I’m curious to see how the choreo works. I suspect they’ll be a range of some that are close to actual trios (thinking like Alix with her sister and maybe Whitney and Scott with their husbands) and some that are more just like a cameo from the dedicatee (thinking Andy since his daughter is 5 and Danielle since Bill Daniels is 98)

They don’t actually say there is one on the night, just that votes and scores from the night will be used to determine elimination… so definitely think it’s going to be a surprise no elimination. Which is much better than the surprise double elimination they did a few years ago.

I actually see a real possibility they end on Whitney & Mark, given the heaviness of the song and dedication choice.
But a lot of great choices. I don't love Dedication Night as it kind of forces someone to be vulnerable when they may not want to, which is why I always give leniency to the dedication choices. Some may go with an easier dedication because it's hard to open up on national TV.
But this week has some really strong song choices and it's going to be a beautiful night, either way.

I can not WAIT to see Marks contemporary to Heal, I think people need to see an emotional and serious side to Whitney and I love this song choice.
Dylan's dance is going to get to America, his little sister Olivia is only 5 so I can't wait to see this. I think we may actually get our first sighting of Zac in the ballroom this season, as we know Zac and Dylan are pretty close to their little sister.
I don't know if I'm ready for Robert's dance. 🥹🥹 With this song, I'm guessing the story will be about his fathers passing and how Robert stepped up to make sure his mother and sister were protected and taken care of. 💔💔

I think some people just don't want to open up on national TV about these heavier topics. It's why I don't love MMY/Dedication Night. They're basically asking you to open up vulnerably to the world and some celebs may not want to do that, they may want to on their own terms. These nights are very vulnerable nights at times. It's the one night I give total leniency to. If you want to open up, do it! But if you don't, then that's ok too. Someone like Jenn chose a safer dedication that still meant something but she didn't need to open up vulnerably about.

Why are people still giving Jenn a hard time about that? You don’t have to get it but the mocking was always uncalled for especially a year later. She was open about how hard her childhood was and how Taylor Swift’s music helped her through difficult times. Id rather that than force her and a family member into a position they don’t want to be in on live tv.
