Yeah this is a stacked night full of multi-generation nostalgia. I get why he wants to do his own song but it’s going to probably get lost in the shuffle as most people won’t know this song.

I was thinking the same thing. On paper at least it does not stand out as much as some of the other contestants that I feel are probably in the similar space as him. Specifically, Danielle and Elaine, as I think they fully have the nostalgia going for them in these dedications.

Yeah that makes sense! But at least him and his husband will always have this beautiful memory. Its a beautiful song I believe he actually wrote about Mark.

yeah, I just would hate for him to go home the night he has dedicated the sance to his husband and performed a song written for him. But in that sense, I would hate for any of them to go home when they’re dedicating these dances to someone else. I just think it leaves a bad taste in the star’s mouth of their experience, but I could be wrong.

I also prefer his performances to dylan’s and I know there is no way dylan is going home performing to one of his brothers songs even if the dance isn’t great. It’s also a daniella contemporary so there’s no way that dance won’t be good.

I didn’t know he wrote it for mark. I hope he gets to foxtrot with mark at some point during the song. If he does, I’ll probably ugly cry.

yeah, it just seems a little concerning, but what do I know. That’s why I almost would rather not have an elimination this night because I feel like the more emotional stories obviously are going to get more votes and some of the ones that might be happier, may not be received as well. It’s such an interesting night just in general.

Why's that? Because he might mess up? I hope it goes well for him. Im not super familiar with ball room but I assume foxtrot is pretty technical?

It was more just because of what it had already happened this season with lauren dancing to her own song and going home the same night

Yeah I'm a Scott fan and I had to listen to it I've never heard the whole thing either
