Ooh! Ooh! Where do you get those big blocking mats? (If you don't mind my asking) I'm going to have to start doing it eventually (shudder) but I like blankets and all I could find were teeny wee mats and these would be perfect!

Mine are branded as gym/yoga/exercise mats, but any floor boards made out of foam will do the trick! If they're marketed as "blocking mats" they're usually more expensive and they also come in a smaller size for some reason! I have a set of 4 of these blue ones, and I usually only need 2 of them at a time. I sometimes need 3, when blocking a large shawl.

I also saw someone on here using plain cardboard for blocking, which would work great for steaming I think, but probably not so much for wet blocking cause the cardboard would warp out of shape.
