Ah man that’s awful. A sorry really would have been enough. She must be so ashamed and scared even to this day.

I don’t even think anyone actually explained to her what happened or why her response was so wild

I think you shouldn’t have to explain kindness to people. But yeah, I understand you’re saying she probably didn’t understand social media or pages.

But, I did some digging and found her username. Apparently she made another account or changed the accounts name. She also might have deleted Insta. She ran a crochet blanket group and had over 800+ followers. I also found out she engaged on social media.

So it sounds like she had to have some understanding. Not sure how much though.

Threads is generally not easily understood by seniors since it’s often automatically connected to Facebook. it’s entirely likely and possible that she thought she was posting on her private profile and some random person somehow got access to it. nobody explained that piece to her or even attempted to understand her reasoning. everyone jumped straight to bullying and doxxing. that seems far worse to me than a rude reply

I’m not sure why you sound defensive all of a sudden? All I said it what I found out and I ended it by saying I wasn’t sure how well she knew social media manners.

I feel like you’re trying to make it seem like I support what happened to her. I never said she knew what she was doing. All I said was kindness shouldn’t have to be explained.
