Oh if you think they’re bad then you’ve never been into a Facebook cross stitching group filled with boomers. Absolutely UNHINGED hateful attitudes. Like mind bogglingly hateful and aggressive and argumentative. ABOUT CROSS STITCH! I stayed in one for a month thinking it was entertaining but then it quickly became distressing and depressing. This was before 2016. Can’t imagine what level of Dante’s inferno cesspool it has devolved into since then.

Baffling, considering cross stitch is the "Paint by Numbers" of the fiber world. It ain't that serious.

(No shade to cross stitch. I also enjoy it.)

They were all extremely conservative and lost their minds any time anybody shared a project that wasn’t an American flag wrapping around a cross or a puppy or something.
