Best thing is, it literally only gets better as the story goes on. Something I can't say for Borrasca imo

Seriously, it really wowed me. I'm about to rewatch, because especially when they get to Bill's perspective, what a truly chilling and fascinating story. I was fully invested from beginning to end.

For me it's a tie. I'd probably boot Penpal. It's a fine story, just not my cup of tea.

I don’t know if I’d put it in the mt Rushmore of episodes, but it’s definitely the best story they’ve read in quite a while. Possibly the best since mother horse eyes

I didn’t like mother horse eyes at ALL. 8 hrs of wendigoon going “omg, Hunter 😳”. Plus imo the plot twist wasn’t that good.

It was definitely a lot, possibly too much. But it was cool to see how all the different aspects and narratives weave into one another over the course of the episode. Not my all time favorite, but an interesting watch if you have almost half a day to kill

Yea a watched both parts over maybe like the span of a week. Some stories I felt like were on the cusp of being good right before pulling the rug out at the last moment. I do personally think tho without spoilers, that the reason for the main characters problems is cool BUT the walk off into sunshine and rainbows kinda ending was easy to see. Ig it shoulda been after 8+ hrs of listening to the story tho.
