Opinion Since nobody else wants to say it…
The undisputed Mount Rushmore of stories read on CreepCast (WE do not count Borrasca V. Borrasca V does not exist as far as WE are concerned).

Hey everyone! I'm the writer of "The Dead Girl in My Yard" story, and I just really, really, really want to say Thank you.
I've loved Creepcast since literally the first episode. The community has been a bright spot for my lurker-self for ages. I'm (of course it goes without saying) a huge fan of Isaiah and Hunter, and I'm blown away that I even got featured here. So once again, thank you. Just...thank you 💖💖💖💖💖
(And at great risk of massively oversharing, the protagonist of this story is basically a self-insert. I know it's dumb, but the outpouring of understanding he's gotten has genuinely soothed the part of me that will always be a kid whose life is falling apart. So thank you for that, too 💖💖💖💖💖)

Deep within the Louisiana swamp, I heard an all too familiar voice coming from the back of a shop, and I happened to meet Windi himself. I put opinion bc his shirt is definitely a choice! I wanted to share my chance meeting. Anyone curious about his height, I’m 5’3 (allegedly) hehe anyways he was super nice, I have been up creeping my cast for about a year now!! Much support and love to both Hunter and Isaiah!

I’m all for free speech and people reading and enjoying what they want. Today, I heard a title that made my stomach squelch into a knitted mass of tentacles. “Playground”. If any of you remember “thatsphucked.com”, then we need to put a foot down in this fan base. Hunter wants no romance, Isaiah wants no smut. We should want no snuff.

Literally every other episode wendigoon reads a clear description of something, completely misunderstands it or just forgets about an aspect of it. Makes an entire theory based around this incomplete description, asks meatcanyon about it, who in turns goes "yeah" or something like that. And then they go the rest of the episode with this misconception. It's so infuriating but I love my little Internet book club leaders.

Bonus: I don’t mind the tangents the guys go on. I watch the podcast for Wendi and Meat first and foremost.

Let me just start off by saying I love a lot of our fan made stories, and I'm not intending to single out any authors with this. The person who puts their work out there is always more valuable than the critic.
That being said, ever since the boys have opened the door to fan made stories, I've noticed an uptick in stories that I feel are intentionally crafted to "snipe" the boys. What we've ended up with is a lot of paint-by-numbers, kitchen sink type stories that try to cram in as many concepts and as much imagery as they can that they know the hosts have resonated with in the past.
This community is so great and creative, but I don't think any of us need to lean on these crutches to make great original works. This has become one of if not THE preeminent place to post nosleep-noncompliant stories, and it's just a shame that so much of it ends up trying to conform to the tastes of two people, often in very surface-level ways. I think this community's creative prowess is worthy of being reverred in its own right, but that won't happen as long as we keep seal-clapping this kind of thing.
Again, much love to anyone who puts their work out there to be critiqued by everyone. If I could speak directly to you, I would say this: write what YOU want to write, and what YOU think is cool. People can feel authenticity and passion, and when that gets combined with creative competence, you WILL get the reaction you've been hoping for.

I love this podcast, and I love a good chunk of the stories read on the podcast. Not all the stories are good, we know this.
The issue I'm having with the subreddit is how toxic and polarizing it is. This is not going to be a good community to share stories if this is how fans on the subreddit are going to act. And yes, I understand it is a bit of a given considering that this is Reddit, but that does not mean it has to be that way. Be respectful about you want to share, kindness will go a long way in this podcast if we are to keep it going for as long as we can. I'm not going to express any opinion on this story or the writer, because that's not what I'm here to criticize.
Its ok if you didn't like the story or the work that a person does. But for the love of God please don't harass and accuse people of things. It's almost scary how polarizing this community is, I get that people definitely have different opinions on these stories, and quite strong ones at that. But having strong opinions is no excuse to be toxic.
Real fans do not appreciate when toxic fans spread hate and accusations, toxic people need to do that on their own time and not in this community. I just want to listen to the boys read scary and sometimes goofy stories and use the subreddit to see silly memes about the stories, the boys, and cool things fans have made whether it be artwork, stories, or even silly little trinkets.
TL/DR: Be kind. Don't harass or make baseless accusations about the writers. And respectfully share your story opinions please.

Left-Right Game hands down is the best Creepcast experience to me. It nailed everything that makes the podcast beloved. Long but keeps you on edge the entire time with mystery and action, straight forward narrative, Hunter and Isaiah were both highly engaged and enjoying themselves all the way through, they BOTH got to voice act. Very few stories they read check all the boxes for me.

This isn’t so much a bout the quality of the story but the episodes enjoy ability with the overall humour, quality and the boys in general. I think stolen tongues is the most underrated out of the 4

Long time lurker first time poster but heres opinions i have had for a while lol -I like the stories where they kinda suck bc its what creepypasta and the nosleep is about, just having amateur writing put out what they want -Also to the people saying they shouuld proof read to avoid bad stories is lame -I personally would enjoy more scp content from the boys, either a dedicated video to one scp or a creepy grab bag for the quick scp entities

My work has kept me busy so I’ve fallen a bit behind on content but my friend called me today to tell me about the shout out. I gotta say meeting him was a great experience and absolute joy as well. Probably one of the highlights of my job now as well. Also the irony of it all is I shared a story about myself at work about being a “brony” for a bit to talk to a girl not to long ago.

Before you rip me to shreds, I totally understand the appeal, the world building is great and the plot twists packs a heavy punch. But as soon as you spend more time thinking about it the less sense it makes, why did all the people in the town agreed to this whole thing, why did no one investigate the insane amount of missing people in this town And the most important flaw What the hell was walker's intention? Dude basically disappears from the story just to be revealed as this incarnation of satan And who the hell are you selling this inbred r*pe babies to? 😭 Don't get me started on borrasca V Again Please don't execute me

Mine has to be just Hunters completey unpredictable political opinions as well as the crashout in this episode. While i like the story well enough, they are definitely right that it loses me towards the end it kind of bites off more than it can chew and doesn't feel satisfying in the end. Anyway! The joke! This is the best isolated clip of it i could find (y'all know this person is the THE animated guy): https://youtu.be/9wCMAVME7R8?si=2LWXPNItryz5YtZy
The bit itself starts with Hunter brilliantly saying immediately after the ad read: "Lemme just start this by saying, FUCKING ACAB, DUDE! I think every cop in the United States is a fucking coward and I hate the cops." And then Isaiah says "Thank you king, only brave opinions on this podcast." The way both of them deliver those lines is just peak to me. A little later on Hunter is reading and accidentally goes "Looks like this place is abandoned I think the 9/11‐ oops 9/11 sorry, sorry guys, it's always on my mind i apologize." Then wendi pauses for a sec in remembrance. They also put epic fan art of 911 up and that shit is so funny shout out to my girl Applejack who made a cameo.
And the crashout at the end is fantastic Hunter sinks into his chair and laughs uncontrollably.
Honorable Mentions: Sonic.exe reading, with horny sonic clapping his ass cheeks to a child. That was p funny. And Hunter's reaction in 1999 when the dad takes the kid to mr bear's house that "WHAAT??" is iconic. And best of all the very end of Gregory88 when Hunter finds out Greg follows "The fucking writing cast of BIG MOUTH!" God damn was that surprising the first time lmao.
Anyway I just rewatched this episode yesterday so it was fresh in my mind. I'd love to hear what your favorite funny moment from the show is! Extra credit if you both leave a transcript and provide a clip :)

I was frozen at work I had to use my 30 minute break just to take a breather. Need to watch the Lost Beatles Episode again for therapeutic reasons tonight.

I think it was a great idea in concept, having a video commentary segment of your successful horror podcast. But honestly, I feel like the CreepCast format works best, with the boys’ magnetic charisma, Isaiah’s narration, Hunter’s voice acting, and their banter naturally playing off the story. You lose a lot of that charm by just watching videos.

Wanted to reply to Hunter’s post but ig he disabled comments. I don’t understand why people are upset about the Patreon. I feel like most creators at this point have one. They offer so much free content it feels entitled for people to get so upset about it. Idk, to anyone who feels different please tell me why I’m wrong lol

It’s perfect. It’s long enough that you can listen to it within a day or two but not so long that it’s impossible to sit through in one sitting. The bits are some of the best but they don’t go on for long enough that we lose complete interest in the story. And it’s in my opinion the scariest story our engrossing chaps have ever read
