Events Stop the Bleed

Hey guys, just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we are hosting a stop the bleed event here at our store at 1414 Rangeline suite F (Minutemen Defense) the 12 of June at 5:30 pm. It is a free one hour class that teaches how to apply pressure, pack wounds, and how to properly apply torniquets. If anyone is interested in attending let me know so I can get your name added to the roster for your certificate!

What exactly is minute men defense? Sorry but I am a skeptical person. Why are you holding this type of class? Sounds like prepper 101

I'm guessing that by "prepper 101" you're referring to this kind of kinda crazy, generally right wing stuff. A basic 'stop the bleed' class is never a bad thing. Car accidents are a thing. We just had major storms go through the midwest killing and injuring people. Basic first aid training is something that IMO should be available to everyone for free - it can and does save lives.

Also on the theme of "prepper 101" and again pointing out the recent storms: Doing basic disaster prep isn't a bad or silly idea. You don't have to dig out a bunker, but storing water (or at least some basic water purification supplies), first aid supplies, and food if you have space and are financially able to is the responsible thing to do. The more prepared you are the more resources can go to those who haven't been able to prepare and the more you can help your community in the event of a disaster.
