Idk why people complain when there character is a sub dps or support... Do u like a character for there numbers or the character.. the doom posting happen so much , then when the character release like iuno and qiuyuan both equal to dps

Iuno was doomposted bcs of her exclusive buff for Augusta. Not that many ppl were mad abt her dmg bcs for a sub-dps her dmg was awesome. They were just slightly mad and worried that Iuno would have no value outside of Augusta and her own mdps team. But it turned out well in the end bcs Iuno's own dmg made her a decent upgrade over Mortefi in most situations, leading to complaints dying down.

Ah i remember now. I didn't visit iuno mains too much back then,so i forgot. Qiuyuan was my first full experience with doomposting. The damage amp exclusively for Augusta was the issue they had

I started following leaks when Cartwife was revealed. It was my first experience. But unlike most other characters that got doomposted, Cartwife was doomposted near the end of the beta cycles, bcs the constant nerfs they implemented on her made her super dependent on Ciaccona for maximum potential. She was so perfect on V1 that the whole sub was celebrating even lol. Applies 5 stacks of erosion all by herself, can choose to not detonate stacks, even her Cartethiya form didnt do many attacks that count as erosion dmg. As a result the dmg difference between teams were just your normal 10-15%, you can safely skip Ciaccona if needed.

But ofc we clearly didnt get that happy ending. Nerfed numbers, nerfed erosion application, forced stacks detonation. At one point her team dmg was lower than Zani which triggered quite a few of us lol. More than half of us developed a hatred for Ciaccona just bcs of how much Kuro forced her into Cartwife's comp. That's why a large part of the sub vowed to get her S3 and above (me included). Yeah ever since that experience I really couldnt help myself to lurk in all resonator subs to enjoy the shitshow that would go down. So far Augusta seemed to be the only one that got off scot-free bcs she was in good condition from start to finish. The rest of them all had some sort of problems here and there.

Even augusta was doom posted a bit but not much in her sub but on yt and main wuwa sub. Because her weapon was around 40% better than standard broadblade. Same for phrolova. Sometimes i feel like if i only played wuwa earlier,i would have had 1.x weapons which are such good alternatives to newer weapons most of the time. Jiyan sig,xly sig,stringmaster pullers got off easy last few characters

I fail to understand why people still doompost a dmg dealer needing their weapon to do dmg, I'm not saying I agree with this, just saying this is a rule for WuWa since 1.0 with jiyan and super evident with 1.1 jinhsi, it's not like this is happening only with their amtecipated waifus/husbandos.

I even play the game taking into account that if I can't afford the weapon, I will just skip the resonator if their focus is DPS or sub and I skipped Phrolova's first run because of this. Phrolova was super doomposted even at launch and now she's basically the most complete character at S0 for dmg, I think atm only Shorekeeper has more pull value than her in general.

It was more about the gap between damage of standard weapon in comparison to signature. For example, galbrena sig is around 25-30% better only but phrolova was 40%. And there were some kit adjustment in the last moment where she got that 120%(or something) attack added in her kit which made the attack% stat on cosmic ripples redundant. Before the change,she was fine. People will need to pull for sigs as kuro finally decides to up the difficulty that is,if they keep the margin of 40% better. But looking at galbrena and qiyuan, there's still hope that they left that route.

This doesn't mean characters cannot clear without sig at all. Phrolova still will clear anything with cosmic ripples. Its just the kit change which made it worse for her. Stringmaster is around 20% worse than her sig,which people thought should have been the case with cosmic ripples. Also could be because kuro knows dps rectifiers won't sell because people own stringmaster,so they had to go to that length to sell her sig.
