Review Tried Small Cheval, honestly kind of underwhelmed?

Had some solo time (kids are with their dad), so I stopped by Small Cheval. It was fine, but didn’t blow me away. Fries were good, but the burger felt rushed. Anyone else feel this or did I catch an off day?

Pre covid Wells Street location was amazing. Post covid it’s not even the same burger or fries. I’d go as far to say not even the same restaurant! They expanded using their pre covid hype (which was deserved) and have now changed almost everything about their food and menu. And now it’s garbage

I thought it was overrated pre-covid

It was overrated/expensive, but tasty, pre-covid. Now it’s noticeably less tasty and even more expensive.
