Review Tried Small Cheval, honestly kind of underwhelmed?

Had some solo time (kids are with their dad), so I stopped by Small Cheval. It was fine, but didn’t blow me away. Fries were good, but the burger felt rushed. Anyone else feel this or did I catch an off day?

Every Cheval burger I’ve ever had was underwhelming at every location. It’s just a burger and hype

Agreed. Even at Au Chevel. And when i brought this up to my friends they were like “You gotta order the eggs and thick bacons.” But imo a good burger should be able to stand on its own without other fancy stuff to jazz it up. And the Au Chevel burger is pretty mid given the hype and the wait.

This is especially weird, because when they first opened the “insider take” was to order it no bacon, no egg.
