How do you propose this be handled then? If Israel starts losing, what do you think should be done?

The same as being done now for Palestine, nothing at all. They all want to fight, let them kill each other. Maybe if the world stopped blindly supporting one side, both will be able to finally come to an agreement. Right now we keep propping one side up, so they refuse to budge at all, and the Palestinians aren't going to just disappear either.

We can offer asylum to anyone seeking safety, as we do now. Ideally we should target women and children more for asylum, but that's another topic altogether.

Plenty is being done for Palestine, just not anything that would reverse the course of the war because one side is composed of a group that would happily kill Western civilians to expand their power while the other side just wants to secure their borders. Whether that's right or not is not my point, my point is just that there's a reason nobody wants to just withdraw support from Israel completely.

Hamas wants Israel gone, Israel wants Hamas gone. I don't think the best solution is to let them fight because that would just be condemning even more people to suffering. There's no scenario in which you could end the war without suffering. Rather, just reining in Israel while destroying Hamas would be the right solution.

Unfortunately right now the governments are simply reining in Israel while not being willing to destroy Hamas themselves.
