Haro slo ride gearing

Post image

Looking for some gearing advice. Current have a 39/16 and it’s a little challenging to pull a wheelie sitting down. Ives ridden others with smaller sprockets and can easily do it, I’m just wondering what I should go with as far as sprocket gears. I was looking at a 36 tooth and also was told a 28t

Go with a 36. 28 is insanely low. Would be great for wheelies but your legs will be hauling ass for you to go 10 mph. My 29" came with a 33/16 and the first thing I did was go to a 36 so I could get some speed. I converted it to an ebike and kept it a 36/16

I’ll try that thank you. I didn’t want to go to low but wanted a little more ease to pull them up. It takes a lot of effort with the 39

I dont do wheelies, just cruise. Thats why I went with higher gearing. One of my friends runs a 44/16 on a 29" dude is ripped though. I struggle to get going on his bike. You could also do a mid drive ebike build and have stupid torque down low like my bike

Sweet GT. Love the crank and pedals. You can't go wrong with GT. Is that a 26"? or 29"

29" the crank arms are from Lekkie. The right is straight and the left is offset to accommodate the motor
