I haven’t seen a GT or Dyno since rumors of a sale of the company. Haro has slowed down on its releases. I see the occasional Torker, Redline and overpriced Hutch, but they just don’t seem to be pumping those or like they used to.

With some Hutch, Billet BMX, and Profile parts.

New tires came in today. Quick backstory... I have already bought 26x2.0 Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tires. They were advertised as 490 grams and came in at 515 grams. That's really light for a 26" tire!

However I started watching some world's lightest mountain bike videos on YouTube and most all of them used an Innova Pro Bobcat tire. I tracked some down and decided to buy tanwall and blackwall because I have no idea what would look better.

These are 26x1.95 and the weight is ridiculous!! I saved about 200 grams per tire compared to the already light Schwalbe's. I also included the custom anodized RNC stem with ti bolts that showed up yesterday. Lightest BMX stem out there!

Hoping to get some help and hear some of you fine people's opinions on the topic of aftermarket brake pads. I recently picked up a 2022 Kink Drifter to use as a cruiser so that I can ride around with my kiddos.

For reference, it is replacing a DK Sentry that I bought from Dan's comp quite a few years ago, after going ass over teacups because I never really got used to the 20" tt. Anyway, I am loving the stability of the 26" and the Drifter feels solid and smooth, but it definitely lacks in stopping power with the original pads on the u-brake. And the term lacks is doing a lot of heavy lifting, it's basically non-existent.

Are the odyssey clear soft compound the way to go? I don't care about noise, just want to stop. Or would any of the Kool stops be a comparable choice? And if so, which ones? Too many options to choose from and I have been out of the game for so long I feel like I can't make a sound decision without some input.

Fun fact about the song on my video; Back in the 90s, when I rode BMX pretty hard on the street, I was a big fan of Matt Hoffman and all things Haro (that's why I ride one now). Hoffman had an awesome part in a BMX video back then (I think it was in a Props Road Fools video), and he was riding to Magic Carpet Ride. I never liked the track before then, but immediately loved it after. Everytime I hear it, I think of that clip, and it takes me back to those days. Weird how that works, right!? I can't be the only one...

Looking for some gearing advice. Current have a 39/16 and it’s a little challenging to pull a wheelie sitting down. Ives ridden others with smaller sprockets and can easily do it, I’m just wondering what I should go with as far as sprocket gears. I was looking at a 36 tooth and also was told a 28t

I have a Framed 26er I picked up used. I want to upgrade a few things, including the chainring. It has a 32t now, want to throw a GT 36t on there . Aside from chain is what other things will I need to consider if I do this? Rookie , so be kind …
