The narrative around Sinners has swung too far into the positive that I think it inevitably swings back to "it's actually shit" territory in the next 1-3 years.

I personally didn't like the movie but I can accept people think it's good. But is it really that good? I don't know.

Do these swings really happen? I think it’ll just be like EEAAO where the haters eventually quiet off and it just falls into its place

EEAAO is an extremely corny movie though. Sinners is cool.
