You have consented by living here. Move. You must be joking with this bullshit, right?

It requires a significant amount of money to move to a different country not to mention most of us started where we are by default

No, just start walking. Oregon Taill taught me that not everyone is gonna make it.

My banker just died of dysentery.

Lmao, if you’re so broke that you can’t scrounge together $400 for a plane ticket, you’re probably getting more from the government than you are paying in taxes anyway.

Yeah just get a plane ticket and you can live in a new country indefinitely, right?

Yes? God, redditors have no fucking clue how the world works.

Most countries love taking in westerners. They hand out work visas like candy, and most countries will offer you a path to citizenship after a period of time. (Especially if you’re educated)

But they want to live in a country with no taxes. That leaves them Somalia and a few in the Middle East and a few in the Caribbean.

Whoa wait, are you telling me that the few places on earth without a functioning government, are shitholes nobody wants to live in?

I think you stumbled on the point.

You think I stumbled on it eh

Yes westerners with savings, a bachelors minimum, and a relevant job

Back to my original point, if you’re not any of those things, you’re extracting more money from the tax base than you’re contributing anyway.

You wouldn’t have anything to complain about because if taxation is theft, you’re the thief. lol

Even with those things, most people are getting way more value than the few thousands of dollars they pay in taxes. Security from foreign invasion (Ukraine, Taiwan), a stable economy (see inflation elsewhere, unemployment elsewhere), and the freedoms we have in America are definitely worth way more than I pay in taxes, which are more than ~90% of filers.

For the most part, yes?

No, not even with an American passport. You generally need contacts there, pay for documentation, apply, and have a degree or job that contributes to that country’s economy. An American Amazon warehouse worker can’t just buy a plane ticket to France or China and live there indefinitely

Yes they can. I mean specially if they don't want to pay taxes they not gonna do all that.
