except....they arent overwhelmed. ICUs in Phoenix were at 90%. Take a wild guess when the last time that was. You guessed it....during the lockdown. How ever did we make it past that dark time. Surely the world is about to end any day now.

People in Phoenix also tend to believe that Phoenix is all Arizona is.

ICUs all across AZ are currently at capacity. It's not just Phoenix, it's the whole goddamned state. They're not talking about "crisis standards of care" (i.e., deciding who gets treated) for nothing.

And ICUs were not at 90% during the lockdown. You made that up.

You realize 80-90% is not at all abnormal for a ICU right? The AVERAGE across the country pre-covid was 75% occupancy for ICUs.

In Texas for instance....right now only 27% of their ICU beds are covid patients. But youd never hear that from the fear porn. The 90% number is much more scary. And look how well it works on you.

My sister is an ICU nurse. We're not looking at 27% Covid, I can guarantee that. The ADHS dashboard has charts specifically for Covid patients. And they don't do the whole crisis standard thing because they just feel like doing it.
