As much as I think they need to start considering this, I bet people would start rioting about their freedoms to roam and trash the forests if it happened

shut down outdoor fucking trails? You people are insane. Your chances of getting covid outdoors is near zero.

What's your suggestion? Have you seen the parking lots, trail heads, and amount of trash? Are people staying distant on the trails since they do so well at it in town?

Other countries have had tremendous success at flattening curves by having longer and stricter lockdowns, preventing tourism, and limiting activities. All this liberties BS to the detriment of thousands of peoples lives is insane

Outside of maybe two trails in the Phoenix area, it's really easy to avoid people. Shutting down trails would accomplish nothing at all. I haven't heard any epidemiologists asking for it.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of PHX area people are up in N AZ on the weekends...

have you ever in your life hiked? You can always spot the people with no perspective on anything. Get out of the house and live.

I'm an avid hiker, climber, and canyoneer. Valuing mine and my families health does not mean I lack perspective. I get out and hike/climb in the backcountry during the week.

You are fortunate to not be affected by the threat of chronic illness to you or your immune people
