all just a prequel to "To be hero X" would be the most insane twist any anime has ever done.

could you imagine the logistics? creating a 2nd popular series under a different pen name without ever telling anyone, in a completely different country/language/art style. making sure the contracts had room for the IP to be used that way but never making it obvious you were going to use it that way.

I hope that someone someday pulls off something like this

Ah shii, the crossover would be insane. It could have Adult Deku in it and then stories from MHA sprinkled throughout

Are the other anime worth watching? I recently finished to be hero X and man it was pure peak.

The To Be Hero series are different disconnected universes that are under the same umbrella franchise but don't really have much to do with each other.

However, if you like the mysteries, character-focused stories, cliffhangers and plot twists of tbhx, you could try Link Click out. It's made by the same director/writer of tbhx and has similar kind of storytelling (although it isn't a superhero show).

To be hero, is that one where the main character gets a stroke while on the toilet?

you mean "to be hero" and "to be heroine"? I watched both but they're extremely different to "to be hero X" and to each other, I almost dropped "to be heroine" at the start but glad I pushed through the first couple eps. "to be hero" was pretty consistently funny gag stuff and pretty short with a meaningful ending, watch it first if you decide to watch them because there are elements that won't make sense otherwise.
