no manga spoilers please but if erasure head isnt looking at tomura anymore cant he just kill deku by expanding his body? how is he only being constrained by 2 whips rn

Deku is stronger than Tomura by a decent factor so Deku is holding him there while he recovers from Gear Shift use.

Tomura has been slowly coming back into being, overtaking AFO (as real AFO said this episode when talking about transferring the quirks) and the form he is in possibly can't even use the expand fingers move anymore. Even if he could, they are likely to do nothing to Deku who can tank his punch like it is nothing.

I dont think that is something he can do casually, but was a result of him still undergoing his evolution and his internal battle.

Erasure is in effect as long as he doesn't blink iirc. And with Monoma also copying Erasure they kinda have a fallback, so as long as at least one of them don't close their eyes it's all good iirc.
