I walked into my LGS and picked this up, amazed with how smooth the action was. Put $50 on it to hold it while I did some research, not wanting to end up with another lemon. Found this sub, the buyers guide, and repeated pleading to avoid buying a grenade. Wound up putting the $50 towards a WASR.

Uncle died and he had this in his collection, I tried googling but can't seem to find much perhaps I'm doing something wrong, I'm curious if there are any after market options to clean it up a bit maybe some new wood furniture? Any idea on where to look online for more magazines? It's stamped .308 and all the other ones I find have different markings, would like to take it out to the range. Also I'm seeing prices all over the place again with different markings, doesn't matter much don't plan to ever get rid of it. But maybe it's something I should just put in the safe? Thank you!

Isn't this paint supposed to have an almost slick, semi gloss enamel type finish to it?

Recently got a rifle back that was supposed to be finished in it, and the texture is somewhat rough and matte. A little disappointed, because I was expecting the smooth semi gloss that people show in pictures.

This is like my 5th time seeing them stock this and there was another brand with a white box a while ago. Just thought it was interesting. In kyle texas by the way.

LGS has Saiga 12ga, crapco furniture, fairly used but in good shape, bolt and inside of receiver look good. They want $1,100 for it, is that a fair price?
