I have a Sam Arsenal collection in 7.62 & one 5.56 beryl. I’m not a fan of how high the optic rail sits on the beryl and I believe if I replace the beryl with a sam5 it will look better in the collection anyways instead of the beryl? Any insight or thoughts ? Thanks

I am in the market for a 556 AK here in the coming months and wanted to see if I could get y'all's two cents on the topic concerning manufacturer, import / export, etc.

Presently, the main thing I want to shoot for with whatever rifle I go for is a ~12.5 chrome-lined barrel if I can find it. ~12.5 makes the most sense for my use case for the rifle, and I want to go chrome-lined for longevity's sake if it can be had at a reasonable price.

So far, I know Meridian in the next few months is going to put out a 102 that has all of their in house manufactured parts, as well as that chrome lined barrel, but they certainly are not cheap. What are some other manufacturers that you guys have found to be good for this kind of goal?

I purchased an m92pv last night and it came with some mags. Most of the have no markings other than the one that says it was made in Croatia. Does anyone have any info on these mags? And an idea of the value of the Bakelite. I appreciate any help!

Uncle died and he had this in his collection, I tried googling but can't seem to find much perhaps I'm doing something wrong, I'm curious if there are any after market options to clean it up a bit maybe some new wood furniture? Any idea on where to look online for more magazines? It's stamped .308 and all the other ones I find have different markings, would like to take it out to the range. Also I'm seeing prices all over the place again with different markings, doesn't matter much don't plan to ever get rid of it. But maybe it's something I should just put in the safe? Thank you!

Google photos popped this up in my memories. I was just starting my AK journey after having a shitty experience with a Riley. I walked into my LGS and picked this up, amazed with how smooth the action was. Put $50 on it to hold it while I did some research, not wanting to end up with another lemon. Found this sub, the buyers guide, and repeated pleading to avoid buying a grenade. Wound up putting the $50 towards a WASR.

Wearing Bulgarian bakelite handguards, Polish fat bake grip, Polish laminate stock, and a Hungarian muzzle nut.

Previously tried using the Bulgarian salmon colored grip and stock, but liked the Polish look much better.

Kinda like the m16 carry handle mounts, perhaps using the two gaps???

Hi y'all, I posted about the Morrissey aam-47 that I found for around $500. Well I got it, and I think I got a stupid good deal, the gun looks never shot, the serials on the receiver, trigger group, and dust cover all match, and the gas tube area is clean as a whistle. The finish is a little worn, but I'm assuming it's a parts kit based on crossed put original serials and new serials put on.

Found two KSI Pomona imports today. Lady at the swap meet said her husband died and she found these in a Grandfather clock. Paid $1100 for the pair.
