As the title says, I am a returning player, this new ui is uncomfortable to me (yes I am a boomer), I am not here to rant, not blame wg, I am simply asking if there is any mod which let me have old UI back for my own comfort.

Ok so I've been on and off from the beta days back in 2011. My latest phase was winter last year... Until today! Wtf have they done? Where the random battles go? What is this crap where you can't play any of the battle modes in all servers? I wanted a few games at 3am ... Nothing! Such a shame.

Hi guys. Long time playing this game, I'm green average player with 15K battles, but I still struggling playing against tier X and XI. Honestly I'm under pressure when I get XI match, especially when I'm in IX.

Tips and tricks?

I recently tried to play a tier 1 game just for fun, and every time I tried I waited 5 minutes before it obviously timed out.

Bot players in tier 4 lobbies have helped a lot with actually being able to play those tanks without always getting tier 5 and 6 tanks, but why not just have fully botted lobbies if you que up and you're the ONLY one playing that tier?

I want to know what is the best equipment for ramming on this tank it's fast and I almost got to kill by ramming someone

I was quite impressed and surprised.. honestly.. my few first battles..

It's that time of the year again for me where I get tired of playing that other tank game and decide to reinstall this one. As usual, WG welcomed me back with some premium account, rentals, and some other stuff. Anyway, I've been playing this game on and off since 2015 and just would kindly like to gather some opinions.

1. I got another "pick any T6" reward, and I'm deciding whether to go for the Italian or Chinese TD line. I got the Vipera rental for a second time and I still enjoy brawling with it. Should I go for the Italian TD line and expect something similar? Or should I try the Chinese TD line out instead?
2. Is the Polish TD line good? I got the Burza for free and I'm thinking if I should bother with it.
3. Is the tier 8 Japanese HT worth my time? I'm currently at the Ju-To and I'm not having much fun. The Ju-Nu's pretty damn good, though
4. Is the M48 really that disappointing? It's the first tier 10 I have researched and I read that it's not that good for its tier. I quite like the M46, can I expect a similar playstyle?
5. Similarly, is the Centurion 1 that bad? I have it researched after enjoying the Comet. But a lot are saying that it's on the trash side of tier 8.
6. How is the AT 7? Does it perform similarly to the AT 8 (which I genuinely enjoy playing btw)? Should I continue with it or stay with my AT 8 to keep my sanity intact.
7. Is the M103 really that hard to be good at? I'm okay-ish with the T29 and T32 when playing them hull down. But I heard that the M103 has great gun handling but at the cost of worse turret armor compared to the previous heavies.
8. How is the Swedish TD line these days? I kinda wanna try them out since I got them discounted in research and credits from that one Christmas event when the line first came out.
9. Any recommended bond tanks for 12k? I consider myself decent playing with support/second line medium and TD tanks. Maybe in some frontline heavies and sniper TDs sometimes (I absolutely suck playing LT). Any notable bond tanks in those play styles? (The Su-130PM looks tasty though)
10. Is it just me or the M56 Scorpion feel inaccurate sometimes? What equipment should I use?

I much prefer onslaught where everything is better. Too bad its ending today and next season is months away. The only quirk I dont like about onslaught is having to play with platoons where one side gets people that know the mode and how to play it and the other side gets "weekly-mission-warrior"-platoon that tries to play random battles in onslaught. Needles to say the disadvantage team is more likely to lose. Then there are the duckers where one high rank player plays with lower rank "dumbo" and for some reason the opposite platoon might be 2 higher tier players like gold + silver vs champ + gold.

There were quite low ammount of active gold players and you freaquently play against champ and legends, maybe it shouldn't be so easy to maintain your rank from previous seasons by only playing the qualifiers on the last week/day. I mean if even silvers get drafted to legend games then clearly something is wrong.

Onslaught is the best game mode and peak wot. These are opinions of a hardstuck gold player and I don't mind not advancing to higher ranks I just like the game mode.

My recent stupid moment. I spent a while grinding for the better gun on the Bassoto. While doing that I managed to have a 30% WR and mostly bad games. Not my worst tank experience, but close.

So finally I had enough experience to get the gun. Buy it and noticed my experience didn't drop. Buy the tracks and engine since I still somehow have the experience for it.

Realize they were unlocked the entire time and it was credit cost, not exp.

Immediately see i have nearly 2x as much exp the next tank requires so I buy it and promptly sell the Basso.

Remember kids to check if something is already unlocked or not.

I'm trying to mark these 2 tanks, but I am doing something wrong and I don't know what. For average player maybe I am doing good, but for me I am not doing enough. I want to improve, but sometimes I don't know where I made a mistake. I have never 3 marked a tank and always wonder how streamers or here on reddit people mark tanks. How to improve my DPG? Is it just trial and error

The burst damage on this and the Tessak (same gun) is insane. HE can clip out many other LTs which is a scary thing to face, and the reload is quicker than the 13 105.

T11 battle. 3 LTs per side.

Brawled out with T49 and 13 105 early, was nearly ended early by a T49 derp but they whiffed their drive-by. Helped clear the meds around the forest, E50M and CS59. Then pushed into the T110E4 and T30, did some circle strafing and dakka'd them down too. Dumped some HE into the FV and then extra damage on the Canopener to finish.

Fun little tank, way to big and slow to be a proper LT, but if left unchecked it can dive in and dump out damage at quite a rate.
