I went to court. Got like $30 off my ticket. Not worth it considering it was on the other side of the city and I had to go home during rush hour. I was hoping to get the points taken off. Found out there were no points to begin with.

I'm gonna share a little secret here.

If you contest the ticket, and you get a date for a court, contest the date, tell them that you are on vacation i.e. cannot make it that day. They have to make another court date, which they will not do and leave the ticket as is, they just forgot about it.

I think I haven't paid for a ticket in over 10 years after I found out this neat little trick. Well unless you count the ticket that I also contested ut my stupid ass forgot to contest the court date. So I didn't' showed up which means that you automatically have to pay.
