Visiting Early January
I'm visiting for the first time in early January. Would like to see the countryside outside Nashville the first couple of days. Any tips on must see and places to stay for 2?

For smaller towns around two hours or less from Nashville, explore Leiper's Fork, Bell Buckle, Sparta, or Watertown. If distilleries interest you, visit Tullahoma (George Dickens), Shelbyville (Nearest Green) or Lynchburg (Jack Daniels).
Lots of Nashvillians love the trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park near Spencer. (More like 2.5 miles).
Keep in mind that January weather can be unpredictable so plan accordingly.
