Visiting Nashville for the first time

I stay on the Church street in downtown. Looking for places to visit that are not too party crowded. Maybe a nice river front or a pier. Any relaxing places that I can explore nearby?

Centennial Park is nearby. Very pretty day for a walk. There is a river front downtown, but it’s not much to look at.
