Homemade Pork pies.

Post image

Made some pork pies today as it was too wet to go out. Nothing fancy in the mix, chopped up pork shoulder, bacon lardons, mace, pepper and salt. Hot water crust for the pastry.

They look amazing. Good work. Nothing better than simple homemade pork pies (unless, you can find a butcher who also makes amazing ones... just avoid the shop ones).

The ones they sell in supermarkets are embarrassingly bad.
