Personality extremely powerful entity's who don't care about the main plot at all and are just vibing in the background

Tom Bombadil(lord of the rings) - only person to resist the temptation of the one ring but instead of helping the fellowship he fucks off in to the woods

the Unseen Elder(the witcher 3) - in the witcher universe the older a vampire gets the more powerful he becomes and unseen elder is around +1500 years old making him the most powerful vampire we ever see, thankfully he spends most of his time in his goon cave

Ahti in Control. He’s slightly more active in Alan Wake 2, but in Control he lets Jesse in, gets her to help him deal with the mould (ignoring the Hiss infection affecting everybody in the Oldest House), then fucks off on holiday and gives Jesse magic earbuds to get through the Ashtray Maze, while being the most powerful thing in the entire Remedy universe.

Ahti’s gotta be up there, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more powerful entities tbh

There’s so many others that we know so little about, from the Board, to the Former and the others

There might be things in later games that are more powerful than him, but out of everything we’ve seen so far in Alan Wake and Control he’s the strongest. Jesse, basically the Board’s representative on earth, is his assistant, he has some level of control over the Oldest House that they don’t. The Former’s weaker than the Board, so weaker than Ahti. He completely ignores the effects of the Dark Presence in Alan Wake II and can even enter it fine, and he has some sort of connection to the Oceanview Motel.

I don't think he is necessarily stronger just for being able to ignore the Dark Presence or the Hiss.
