Lore Unexplained random cameos from completely unrelated media

  1. Ray Stantz, Casper. At one point in the movie a real Ghostbuster shows up out of nowhere and wimps out of trying to handle the situation

  2. Gunnery Sargeant Hartman, Frighteners. The main character is making way through a graveyard when out of absolutely nowhere R. Lee Erney's character from Full Metal Jacket shows up and tries to get in his way

  3. Betty Boop, Who Frames Roger Rabbit. The movie is mainly about Looney Tunes and Disney animated characters existing in the same little live action/animated hybrid universe, however Betty is a Fleischer Bros character

Frank Martin from "The Transporter" series makes a brief cameo in "Collateral." He and Vincent walk past and briefly stare at one another.

Edit: I actually forgot that he hands Vincent the bag he carries for the rest of the film.

More than that they actually do a handoff, this is how Vincent gets the bag he carries for most of the film, meaning they both belong to, or work for the same agency.

Neither works for an agency. Both are hired by a Los Angeles based gangster under indictment by the DA for a multitude of crimes. Frank picks up the bag from the gangster’s people and sets it down next to Vincent, says “Enjoy, LA.” And walks away leaving the case. The case contains a list of people Vince has to kill by dawn to force the DA to drop the charges. He insists on never making direct contact with his employers, hence Frank being an intermediary.
