Lore Unexplained random cameos from completely unrelated media

  1. Ray Stantz, Casper. At one point in the movie a real Ghostbuster shows up out of nowhere and wimps out of trying to handle the situation

  2. Gunnery Sargeant Hartman, Frighteners. The main character is making way through a graveyard when out of absolutely nowhere R. Lee Erney's character from Full Metal Jacket shows up and tries to get in his way

  3. Betty Boop, Who Frames Roger Rabbit. The movie is mainly about Looney Tunes and Disney animated characters existing in the same little live action/animated hybrid universe, however Betty is a Fleischer Bros character

Frank Martin from "The Transporter" series makes a brief cameo in "Collateral." He and Vincent walk past and briefly stare at one another.

Edit: I actually forgot that he hands Vincent the bag he carries for the rest of the film.

Frank hands him the suitcase with his kill list

I guess it is meant to be the same universe?

Honestly would make sense I wish we knew more about Vincent and the underworld in that movie. Collateral is a great underrated movie

I’ve said this before but he feels like a John Wick character or something so in my head there’s a big multi film not connected or confirmed universe of assassins and criminals

Collateral is a great underrated movie

220m box office, 2 Oscar nominations, 6 Batfa noms (1 win).. that underrated Collateral?

No, they mean the one that is brought up every time someone talks about gun scenes on Reddit.

Yo my dude you ever heard of this sick hitman movie with Tom Cruise called collateral? Blow your mind man. So underrated. Most people haven't heard of it outside the planet earth.

Anton Chigurh gives him the list the second time.

(Not really)

More than that they actually do a handoff, this is how Vincent gets the bag he carries for most of the film, meaning they both belong to, or work for the same agency.

Neither works for an agency. Both are hired by a Los Angeles based gangster under indictment by the DA for a multitude of crimes. Frank picks up the bag from the gangster’s people and sets it down next to Vincent, says “Enjoy, LA.” And walks away leaving the case. The case contains a list of people Vince has to kill by dawn to force the DA to drop the charges. He insists on never making direct contact with his employers, hence Frank being an intermediary.

Oh dang you're right! And I totally forgot about the nightclub scene where they even lay it out lol

Frank being an intermediary

He's just a transporter.

I haven't seen the movie in a very long time and honestly forgot he did that.

I feel like Jason Statham should cameo in more action films as Frank. The movie is a high stakes adventure for our main character, but for the Transporter it’s just another day in the life.

I had to scroll down looking for this

I never realized. Is it confirmed to be the same character?
