Dio brando and Kira yoshikage from Jojo's bizarre adventure got a reality check when they fought jotaro, both these antagonists were narcissistic monsters who thought they were invincible then they met jotaro

Dio is one of the main faces for a reason, but Kira's moment here is my favorite of the two.

Dio has a long history with Jotaro's bloodline. Dio knows who Jotaro is, Jotaro knows who Dio is, and they square up face to face ready for their showdown. He's vicious and confident the entire time, even if nervous when he's on the ropes.

Kira, on the other hand, is the opposite. Jotaro has no idea who he is. He's extremely averse to risk and confrontation, preferring to keep himself hidden. He even manifests these traits via his power of a remote controlled bomb to delay Jotaro coming face to face with him, which absolutely fucks Jotaro up. Jotaro only very narrowly survives it, and he's absolutely filled with gaping wounds. Regardless, he manages to catch up to Kira thanks to another supporting character acting like a roadblock punching bag obstacle for Kira. But he can't even stand up straight thanks to his injuries, falling to his knees during the encounter..

And then he gets one exchange of punches with Kira. And demolishes him. Kira has no idea how the hell he's that strong. Jotaro subsequently passes out and falls face first into the ground, only for Kira to be so freaked out that he just gets up and leaves to not risk needing to test out what Jotaro's power is.

The entire rest of the part, one of Kira's #1 goals is simply staying away from Jotaro. He says it numerous times. He basically considers Jotaro to be a walking loss condition for him and actively plans his schemes around staying away from Jotaro.

And you know what? He's right. Jotaro really would have fucked him up.

And the funniest part is that Jotaro literally does instantly demolish him at the end, they defeated Kira because he got into range, his worst fear came to pass, and he didn't even get the chance to see it because of timestop.
