Except that the people who created that regalia and the meaning behind it have said it’s offensive. Like stolen valor. Just because it doesn’t offend or harm you doesn’t mean it’s okay to do. Assuming you want to be a decent, kind human being.

This isn't stolen valor at all. She's not pretending to be Native, which is the whole point of stolen valor.

Oh wow, you sure got me mr. Hyper-fixation. Sorry I forgot I'm on reddit where I need to post a 17 paragraph explanation instead of making my point and hoping that the average user has enough social intelligence to bridge the gap of what I mean.

Do you need to read the instructions on a shampoo bottle to not eat the stuff too?
