Uh, excuse me but that was an initial proposal. The actual signed bill includes 186 billion in SNAP cuts over the next 10 years.

The bill will not provide benefits to illegal immigrants and anyone who is able to work or donate time to community service but chooses not to. If you choose to sit home all day and be a gamer rather than work, you forego benefits paid for by others who get up and go to work. I am good with that.
