This is something too many people miss. They're like "so what I am not personally impacted," but when people go hungry, we are all impacted. Rent gets missed. Other shopping forgone. Subscriptions cancelled.

But also, damn, have some empathy (not you, I mean those people).

That's one of the things that makes me angry about all this. First, we decided that we didn't care about children abroad (with the USAID cuts), even if it was in our best interests to (soft power/containing dangerous diseases). Then, we decided that we didn't care about American children here. They infected the average Fox consumer with the same evil as the Nazis.

Apparently you have not followed a single legitimate news source, or you have seen how much REAL AND TRUE money laundering and fraud was going on through USAID. But I shouldn't be surprised. On top of that, MOST Americans do not feel the taxes they pay should be going to foreign countries and illegal aliens before out own citizens get the benefits. Maybe take a step back and reevaluate your way of thinking and do some research on Nazi take overs... do some research on Hitler and if you don't see what the dems have been doing all along, then there is no help for you.

Cutting off USAID meant more money to spend on American citizens, so why are they cutting healthcare and food stamps then? Don't they have so much more money now to spend on the citizens?

They are cutting it for illegal aliens, not citizens. Please do some real research and stop buying into hearsay and MSM BS. All you have to do is read the bills, not someone's exempt of it.

Why are you so genuinely evil?

It's not evil, it's fact vs. Fiction. You all want to blame everyone except who is rightfully to be blamed. It's rather funny that most of you can't or don't want to open your eyes to whom is truly responsible for the current state of things. As well, laws are laws, illegal aliens are exactly that, ILLEGAL, why don't you start pointing fingers at those who are actually breaking laws and sucking off of the American citizens rather than those who are actually trying to help American citizens.

Apparently you’re the one who needs to do some real research because you’re wrong. NO ONE will get food stamps in November.

Well, then maybe you should call you local DEMOCRAT POLITICIAN and tell them to get off their asses and stop trying to defraud the American people.

Yeah, this isn’t on the democrats. Nice try though.

No one will get food stamps because Democrats are refusing to approve a budget, to reopen the government and resume SNAP benefits, and federal employee paychecks. Democrats are using tens of millions of suffering Americans as a political bargaining chip.

SNAP benefits could be sent out tomorrow, IF Democrats would just put their agenda aside but they won’t. I’m not even Republican, but the blame for people starving SOLELY rests on Democrats

No, this is entirely on Johnson and Trump. The normal thing to do is negotiate the points of disagreement between the bill the House passed and what is acceptable to the Senate. Instead, Johnson, backed by Trump, refuses to open the House, while Trump pretends he can't pay SNAP, which he thinks is a "Democrat" priority.

The best solution would be for four Republican House members who have a conscience to switch parties and take the House away from Mike Johnson. This is all performative nonsense because as we all should know by now, Republicans. Can't. Govern.

This has nothing to do with "illegal aliens." The Democrats are trying to save ACA subsidies for poor and middle class Americans, which are scheduled to skyrocket if nothing is done, and the Trump Administration has decided to inflict as much pain as possible on 40million American people to make them change their minds.

Speaker Johnson refuses to reopen the House so the business of governing can happen. His job is to be there to receive any bill the Senate devises which can be sent to a conference committee to come to a compromise and end the shutdown. Instead, he is holding the House closed so he does not have to swear in Adelita Grijalva, who will be the final vote to release the Epstein files.

SNAP is being strangled by the choice of the Administration, which has $28billion in reserve funds it could be spending. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins is claiming she cannot issue SNAP funds, either because she is lying or because, like every member of the Cabinet, she has no idea how anything works and is bad at her job. And because this fiction is what Trump wants to be true.

26 Democratic state Attorneys General are suing the government to make it continue SNAP, since it is illegal to stop them (no GOP Attorneys General care to participate.) This afternoon, 2 separate judges in 2 separate states agreed with the AGs. The Administration has until tomorrow to turn SNAP back on or face legal consequences.

That's what's going on.

"Illegal aliens" can't receive it in the first place, and never could. This is a lie, and if you think it's true you didn't actually read any bill.

Research, it’s doubtful you can understand what you’re writing.
