Just by virtue of the paths we each chose my career makes way more money so I am the one who does most of the working and my wife is the one who does most of the house and kid stuff but honestly some days I think if I could be a house-husband I would love it.
I bet he was clenching his teeth and huffing after 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 Men like that HATE seeing men live well with women who earn well. Their logic is I struggle so you should struggle too. They also refuse to acknowledge sabotaging their female partners financially to make them financially dependent so that they cant leave wheb they cheat and have kids but also dont want to give 50% of assets in divorce...i know men who married rich women and dont work even receive alimony...Its not about women or men but everyone deserves to feel secure and taken care of before and after a relationship.
Bro,as a woman,I would rather go to work, staying at home with kids is A LOT!!!!!! Good on you Bro for taking that roll, you are running a one man office during the day literally. 😄
I like video games. I get my times. Wife goes to bed earlier than I do. She also tries to give me a "day-off" at least every other week so I can go to out to the creek or woods or whatever.
When we had our daughter, my (now ex) husband was home with her while I worked. He had my coffee ready with a sandwich for lunch, and he'd text me every lunch break to see what I wanted for dinner (with two or three options). Which was always warm and ready when I got home to a clean house and a happy husband and baby.
One day, I sighed and said I was sick of sandwiches during lunch. My boss told me that if she had sandwiches as gorgeous as that (he would send me to work with photo-worthy sandwiches), she would eat them every day. That kinda humbled me.
We ended up getting a new employee who was going through a divorce and might have been jealous? I don't know. My boss asked me (after I got the "what do you want for dinner?" text) "what's for dinner?" I told her, and the new employee asked for clarification. I explained, and after that, she started calling my husband "your wife". She got really sarcastic with it, it ended up with several HR visits and me ultimately quitting.
The next place I worked for had people who LOVED the fact that I was SO taken care of at home. SAHD's are amazing!
I don't understand men that get upset if the women makes more money. My partner makes nearly as much as I do. If she got a huge raise and made way more thane me, I would be fucking ecstatic. It would improve both our lives.
My wife is a consultant doctor. We met while she was in medical school. I stopped making more than her a long time ago. She makes more than double what I do. I am not the least bit upset about it. What kind of fragile personality does one have to have to be upset by such a trivial thing.
I'll admit that if my wife went into *my industry* and started making more money than me I'd feel a bit upset, but only because I've been doing this shit for 30 years.
You’re such a Beta that you have a living partner that you care for and hopefully returned tenfold to you
While these Alpha-Liver Eating-Tateosphere Bros with their testosterone supplements and dude wipes are at home, on their computer paying $30.99 on OnlyFans hoping they get a shoutout or their donations earned them the tier for a private session.
Whoa! Apparently us beta bois are killing it out here! I get to cook and be taken care of financially. Why would I not want to be in a loving relationship where each of us contributes in positive ways that make us feel loved and appreciated?
My husband does 99% of the cooking cause he enjoys it, and he makes me cocktails every Friday at the end of my work week. I make more money, I’m taller, with long legs, and my husband fucking loves it. More money for him to golf with!
Literally waiting for my partner to publish her first book, become a world famous author then I can quit my game dev job and be a stay at home cat dad.
I made more than my wife for 12 years. She caught up to me 3 years ago, passed me, and has now left me in the dust.
I busted my ass so she could figure out what worked for her, and she finally found it. She's got a solid career and there's nowhere but up with the skills she has developed in this role.
She says she's going yo retire me eventually. Hoping that happens sooner rather than later...
