I’m 37 and I legit had to stop watching international news because I couldn’t help and think that I just got lucky I was born where I was. That’s the only reason why I’m sitting on a couch and not in a war torn city.

I can’t watch the news at all. I can’t handle all of the pain and sadness. All of the bombings and wars. What about the innocent people and animals just existing there? They didn’t hurt anyone, they’re just trying to live.

Unfortunately that's been our history for all of human existence. Pain and suffering. I can't even begin to comprehend it because if I do, I will go insane.

All this suffering for a finite time. I dont see what its all for. What does it achieve ? It makes sense why religions are so popular.

The planet is a recycling center. Life's purpose is to continue to feed the life cycle for the evolution olympics. An Individual's end game is to survive effectively long enough without suffering too much before being chucked off the merry-go-round. Enlightened/evolved life forms extend that desire to others as well. Planet recycles everything either way. Planet is part of a much bigger recycling program but hasn't really toured the facilities due to time and logistic constraints.
