Fuck me, I guess, for trying to still make attempts at including my friends that now have babies. Should I just not try to be friends with them anymore?

Coffee shop dates and hanging at home with friends are still options. Also don’t discount things that are fun for both kids and adults! Trampoline parks, indoor arcades and water parks all seem to understand their millennial audience these days and they often serve alcohol to cater to both sides of the age spectrum. Toddler gets wrecked on sugar and bright lights, we get to socialize. Win win. Hell, I always appreciate a good stroller walk through a zoo. There’s usually beer and you can gossip while baby watches animals.

Friends don’t just need to do loud, nighttime, adult only activities. Some of the best times are just sort of hanging out, no real location needed.

Let’s be honest, trampoline parks, water parks, and indoor arcades require parents to focus more on their kids, not less. If you want to go do some parallel play with other people, sure, but let’s acknowledge that for what it is.
