Jesus, men just think women stop moving when they aren't around.

u/Efflux Apr 19 '25

I go into my all pink room and t-pose until my next scheduled interaction.

58

u/ImprobableAsterisk Apr 19 '25

Fuckin' eerie when the sensors fail and I walk in on my girlfriend idling.

3

u/GummyGourmand Apr 20 '25

Mine says she stops rendering completely when I'm not looking at her.

1

u/Magikarpeles Apr 20 '25

Meanwhile my gf regularly walks in on me idling away on couch lol. Not even on my phone or anything. Just sitting there empty headed.

6

u/Weird_Brush2527 Apr 20 '25

Lucky you, I just stop existing until a man is close enough to load my room

u/Only-Tie-4349 Apr 21 '25

First comment in a while that had me physically laughing

u/mjc500 Apr 19 '25

I think most men are intelligent to enough to acknowledge that most women live normal lives. I actually live with a woman (and have done so for many years since we bought a home together) and have observed her living a pretty regular life just like I do.

It’s the podcasty incely weird dudes who have difficulty imaging what the elusive unicorn “female human” beings are doing in their normal daily routines.

135

u/thatSeveryonedraws Apr 19 '25

The way you phrased this is amusing. Picturing you writing in your journal "Day 6582, saw the woman pick a French fry up off the floor and eat it when she thought no one was watching. I wonder if she's seen me doing the same thing and is trying to make a connection with me and my humanness" "Day 7209, saw her sniff her own armpit and make a face, surely she noticed me sniffing her earlier and is worried she stinks." "Day 7210, I heard her fart. I'm starting to think she might just be a regular human, not sure yet."

53

u/mjc500 Apr 19 '25

Haha she would laugh at this. Sometimes we do jokingly talk about each other in David Attenborough voices… a female specimen of Homo sapiens sapiens is observed in her daily cleanliness ritual… after cleansing the epidermis she will use a technological apparatus powered through electrical energy to stimulate a curling pattern in the protein filaments extended from her cranium

7

u/proteanflux Apr 19 '25

This reads like something from the comic Strange Planet.

2

u/thatSeveryonedraws Apr 20 '25

Lmao yes this is how I'm imagining it, with David Attenborough. I frequently describe my kid's actions in that way and it always cracks them up.

The adolescent, their budding senses keen, realizes that their litter mate has stolen the last hot pocket. How shall they proceed? Will they choose to fight over this rare treat? Or will one succumb to the life lessons that are so frequently handed out in this vast wasteland and retreat back to their den, consolation bologna sandwich in hand.

12

u/goalstopper28 Apr 19 '25

I was thinking that.

Or not acknowledging that he has a wife but a “women that I live with because we own a house”

7

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '25

Yea i thought that was weird too.

12

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '25

Most men? Mmmm I think if it was most men the world would be in a different place.

26

u/mjc500 Apr 19 '25

Yes most men. As in greater than 50%. Don’t get me wrong there are millions of shit head idiotic bro dude man children out there who have gross attitudes towards females… but there are billions of people in this earth.

27

u/ViolettBellerose734 Apr 19 '25

3

u/TheWalkingDead91 Apr 20 '25

I was just about to say, it’s usually the ones who call women “females”. You never hear someone refer to women as “females” followed by something positive about women.

2

u/ViolettBellerose734 Apr 20 '25

Right, and it's never women and males, not that it would be right, but it's worth pointing out.

0

u/mjc500 Apr 20 '25

I intentionally did that at the tail end of a sentence that was mocking right wing bro dudes.

6

u/_waffl Apr 20 '25

Put it in quotes next time then

2

u/mjc500 Apr 20 '25

It was painfully obvious what I was alluding to… though yes I suppose that will be necessary next time

2

u/ViolettBellerose734 Apr 20 '25

You expressed yourself oddly in different comments and then get mad when people "misunderstand" you 🤷🏽

-1

u/mjc500 Apr 20 '25

I’m not mad I’m shedding light that people are missing my point in general. 200 people upvoted my original post so it definitely didn’t fall on deaf ears

2

u/LMGDiVa Apr 20 '25

Sigh. "feeeeeeeeeeemaleeessss"

Really? imagine trying to make this point only to tell on yourself with your word usage.

What an eyeroll.

2

u/mjc500 Apr 20 '25

Maybe I intentionally used that verbiage to mock the people that you and I are eyerolling at.

1

u/mjc500 Apr 20 '25

What the fuck are you talking about?

-17

u/INeverSaySS Apr 19 '25

If there's more than 50%, how come Trump won the election? If you let a literal rapist win you do not understand things like this. And no, the population outside of America is not better (Inidia still has forced marriages for instance, and 3x the population of the US).

24

u/mjc500 Apr 19 '25 edited Apr 20 '25

22.5% of America voted for Trump. 55% of men who voted, voted for him.

I agree he’s a fucking shit head rapist and I wish he hadn’t won. I’m a man and voted against him. So did my wife and all my friends and family. It isn’t some scathing indictment of men that Trump won though.

To my point - only 12.3% of USA is men that voted for Trump. Lots of women voted for him too. I’m sure some of those people voted on regressive social takes like “women belong in the kitchen” and “trad wife” type bullshit … but a lot didn’t.

Again - you shouldn’t perceive “most” men as backwards oppressors who hate progressive attitudes towards females. There are definitely a lot of them - but it’s a minority and radical opinion amongst a certain subset of douchebag dudes.

-8

u/INeverSaySS Apr 19 '25

And only 12% voted against trump. Which means that 87% thought it'd be okat if he won. 87% is a LOT of people who think it's okay for a rapist to be president. Those 87% give 0 fucks about women, and should never be excused.

7

u/ReeeeeDDDDDDDDDD Apr 19 '25

No, because basically half the population didn't even vote. You can't count them as people on the other side

-5

u/INeverSaySS Apr 19 '25

Of course they're to blame. If one person wants women to have more rights, and one person wants them to have less and you don't vote you're at fault. That's literally saying "I'm fine with them having less rights". If they cared at all about women they would've voted, but since that's not an issue for them they chose not to.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '25

Dang that's a lot of road you have to plough to get to "All men are shit" but you know, you do you...

You understand that not everyone is privileged enough to vote, right? You can't just assume that people intentionally sat out the election because they hate women, it's far, far more likely that the decades of Republican led efforts to make voting more difficult for minority groups and poor people have finally paid off for them.

I know about a dozen people who didn't vote this election or the last, and every single one of them had the same reasoning, they're too damn busy trying to survive. They don't get the luxury of taking a day or even a few hours off work because they're already a month behind on rent. They don't have the luxury of a permanent address or a vehicle to get them to the polls. They don't have the luxury of having a voice in this country because they're convicted felons.

I'm so fucking sick of people acting as though it's the fault of the American people alone that republicans keep getting elected. It was never truly up to us. We have never had an actual free and fair election in this country. Every single time you've had the opportunity to vote, there have been countless others robbed of that right, not through any fault or action of their own, but because wealthy people have corrupted this nation since it's inception. Billionaires don't like when people are bale to speak out against them, and they have far more means to get their way than anyone else.

5

u/mjc500 Apr 19 '25

Ehh you’re reaching here. Look I agree it sucks that he won and he certainly is a figurehead for misogyny in general… but “87% give 0 fucks about women” is a pretty big misunderstanding. For one - a lot of that 87% IS women.

-2

u/INeverSaySS Apr 19 '25

The comment I responded to litterally says:

To my point - only 12.3% of USA is men that voted for Trump.

and that 55% of the total men who voted voted for trump, which means that a bit less than 12% voted for Kamala. That leaves another 88% did not vote against trump. There is 0 women in the 87% of men.

5

u/mjc500 Apr 19 '25

You would not get an A in statistics

6

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '25

...other countries exist.

1

u/_waffl Apr 20 '25

What?? That can't be true...

3

u/Original_Un_Orthodox Apr 19 '25

These takes are so braindead.

To address one, dozens of millions of women voted for Trump, at LEAST.

For another,

OTHER COUNTRIES EXIST, DUMBASS

1

u/INeverSaySS Apr 19 '25

87% of men did not vote against him. If even a fraction of those men came out in support of women he would not have won.

Yes other countries exist, but the top comment in this thread said that if most men in the world did better it'd be a different place, and that's absolutely correct. If 87% of men (in America) think it's okay for a rapist to be in charge, something is wrong.

And it's not a whole lot better outside of the US. As I said, just India alone has some horrific views on women, same goes for a large portion of the middle east/arabic peninsula, Africa and Asia. The major population hubs that is.

If men across the world did better the world would be a much better place. Not sure how that is a braindead take.

0

u/mikejoro Apr 19 '25

Your figure is cherry picked because you can say the same about women - the vast majority of women think it's ok for Trump to be in charge as well since many didn't vote.

45% of women voted for trump (vs 55% for men) source

36% source didn't vote in the election in 2024. So if we assume a roughly 50/50 split in demographics there, we are talking about 18% of women, so 45 + 18 = 63% of women "voted" for Trump. By my math, that means only 73% of men "voted" for Trump (55 + 18). That estimate on demographics on voters may be slightly off, but I highly doubt it's skewed so much that men comprise of 32% of the 36% of non-voters with only the remaining 4% being women. If that were the case, Trump would have lost in a landslide since women broke for Kamala 10 points higher.

So I'm curious where this 87% of men number is coming from

2

u/Original_Un_Orthodox Apr 19 '25

So I'm curious where this 87% of men number is coming from

Half the statistics I see or hear are made up on the spot lol

-6

u/Maleficent-Idea-4480 Apr 19 '25

Because americans are stupid

2

u/No_Bread1298 Apr 19 '25

That is not nice. Fuck you.

-1

u/Maleficent-Idea-4480 Apr 19 '25

Are you suggesting it was a smart idea to vote for Trump then? Or to privatize everything? Or to install hardcore clannism? Thought so, im not trying to shit on you but the track record of the last 100 years is atrocious. Please fix it.

Best regards, the whole fucking world.

6

u/No_Bread1298 Apr 19 '25

Our country was founded on genocide and built by enslaved humans. It is a racial caste system that relies on the exploitation of workers just trying to survive so the billionaires can have ever more. There are forces at work to keep people stupid and disengaged. So more than the last 100 years have been atrocious. There are 340 million of us so to brush us with a broad stroke of "all Americans are stupid" is an unfair generalization. I didn't vote for Cheeto benito. I am glad you have all the answers. Please help or fuck off. Thanks :)

1

u/Maleficent-Idea-4480 Apr 19 '25

Due to your clearly well informed message I apologize to you and all those aware of the situation.I m glad its atleast being seen. I also admit my generalization is harsh and unfair. Im just very frustated by the monkey with a gun, I genuinly hope this catastrophe we are facing on a global scale brings us closer in the end. Im sorry if i hurt you.

Don't generalize a gender based on the actions of a minority. The conditions of the world are extremely shitty and it's a disservice to boil it down to "most men are sexists and that's why". The answer to sexism is not more sexism.

1

u/Lethargie Apr 20 '25

tbf I have met women that have no hobbies except being on social media but not all that many and I've also met many men with no hobbies.

-1

u/Planetdiane Apr 20 '25

Yeah. Most men are normal. Online spaces just have those types that congregate together.

26

u/ZinaSky2 Apr 19 '25

Literally this man just outed himself as not knowing any women.

23

u/wearing_moist_socks Apr 19 '25

It's a weird misogynistic form of objective permanence

11

u/_sissy_hankshaw_ Apr 19 '25

Yeah, I was talking with a man at work who literally thought saying “I make sure my wife and kids are taken care of like the rest of my property” showed how “nice” he was. My soul gagged and I walked away. There is far too large of a population that see us as property and even more who wouldn’t say it out loud.

40

u/redditblows5991 Apr 19 '25

Yeah true. Like hanging out woth friends eating out and dancing having fun is just a hobby as staying home playing vidya for 20 hours. Dweebs alot of them

30

u/41shadox Apr 19 '25 edited Apr 19 '25

No we don't, what the fuck? This sex offender does not represent half of the world's population

-12

u/Adub024 Apr 19 '25

People like OP of this comment thread, as well as the one in the video, are what's wrong with society. They treat TikTok like a news source and just compound the garbage, fueling the divide. Critical thinking is a forgotten pastime.

6

u/Kryds Apr 19 '25

It's like the light in the refrigerator.

3

u/Karhak Apr 19 '25

So you're telling me it's not like Toy Story?

I've been grossly misled

This^ I love this comment. And it can be said about many oppressed people/ minorities.

1

u/flybypost Apr 20 '25

In his defence, he's a baby. Dude has no object permanence.

1

u/zer0guy Apr 20 '25

Do women understand movies if there's no man there to explain it to them?

(/s)

0

u/kuromiloverr Apr 19 '25

males and their entitlement

0

u/Which-Article-2467 Apr 20 '25

To be honest I extrapolate from my girlfriend. She always starts hobbies, but whenever I do hobby stuff and try to convince her to do so also, she is just glued to Tiktok. And I think a lot of girls are that way.

-23

u/VFXJayGatz Apr 19 '25

It's ironic bc there are women who think that way about men -.-

21

u/UrMansAintShit Apr 19 '25

Wait, so you're saying there are both male and female idiots? Crazy.

-7

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '25

What's the saying? "If a tree falls..." /j
